OK Scrabbler, you've convinced me! Think I just didn't want to believe that Lauren and Steven are now together. would have preferred it if Peter just didn't want to come back because he all the bobby cover up was his reason for going in the first place. He and Lauren have split because his family have ruined her family. Steven comes back because Lucy was sister and he feels he should and then whilst they are back in the square Lauren and Steven develop feelings for one another. That might have worked!

I'm happy with this twist, as I feel a recast of Peter wouldn't be good right now. Although I don't feel the last actor made a great impact of Peter, it would be daft to give him a new face now

(Although, would the other Peter (2004-2010) return one day?

Im sure they made it quite clear he was Gay, He couldn't perform with stacey, and if they did eventually do it, im not certain that they did, He had to think of a man!

I think i've just about stopped laughing at that kiss now. Terrible story line.

They may as well give Ben a new GF now and call him BI.

I think they should recast Peter. I feel peter is needed at the moment but it seems we will just be subjected to lame excuses for his absences for the next few months though. Which will come across as out of character and end up being a hatchet job on the character. Like Zainab and Lisa.
