New single from Louisa

So Louisa is releasing a new single .... with Clean Bandit!

Personally, I think this is a great decision, if the song is good it could repair the damage that the really disappointing debut single created.

Clean Bandit have had a string of successful hits and really gave Jess Glynn a leg up .... lets hope it works for Louisa.

Look forward to seeing what this is like as it would be nice to see her do well.

I hope it works for her but why couldnt they just launch her on her own, shes talented enough, she isnt Zara Larrson

Guessing they are using Clean Bandits success and popularity to give Louisa an added push.

Thanks for the info - where have you got this news from, out of interest?

If it is true, it's a decent idea. Their "Rather Be" song was an excellent springboard for Jess Glynne and their material has been strong since then. I always thought Louisa's voice would lend itself well to the feel-good dance that they do, and it would give her a a boost to test the water before a fully fledged solo single.

Gone are the days when a winner can be successful on name alone. SYCO need to secure a position for her on the Radio One playlist, as well as Capital. They failed to do that last year by pairing Ben Haenow up with Kelly Clarkson - Clean Bandit are far more accessible for the younger crowd and it should lead nicely into a debut single and album for her.

This stinks of a complete lack of originality on Simon/SYCO's part. Oh, Clean Bandit made Jess Glynne big so let's get Louisa on that bandwagon and try and get the same thing to happen. How about actually giving her a decent original song and having faith in her? I'm not a fan and think her voice is overrated, but she's good and deserves a decent launch. I can't see this going very well anyway. There's next to no buzz around her or excitement.

If the song is good - she will be fine the excitement and buzz will come later

This is what I have always thought aout SYCO who are not great when it comes to solo artists. Louise could have a good future, but not under tm.

The music industry has changed so much since they last launched a winner with a realistic chance of success. I think they've actually adapted to this pretty well this time around. Think of the biggest UK acts recently - they've all been springboarded into success with some feature songs firsts. Jess Glynne did two songs with Clean Bandit and one with Route 96 before she released her album, and Sam Smith had his Naughty Boy hit and one with Disclosure. Even Years & Years did their one with The Magician, as well as a few "bubbling under" buzz singles prior to hitting the big time. Times are changing - I actually agree with their methods this time. It will mutually benefit both Louisa and Clean Bandit, and it should guarantee some radio interest.

Quite a good move for Louisa, if a somewhat odd one from Clean Bandit. It's definitely a wiser move in making her a more current artist, and at least she's not appeared to be lumbered with the dreaded, dated covers album.

Never really been a huge fan of the show overall for quite a time, but i'm always keen to see what the winner puts out and i'm listening to this now and it's really quite good.

Smart move to have her as a 'featuring' artist with the first original release i think.

Good stuff. I'll certainly be checking out whatever else she puts out based on this.

The song is coming out under Clean Bandit's label, Atlantic. That means SYCO is willing to give up some money in the short-term to get Louisa a hit track.

Very good song and a smart move. This gives Louisa a real chance with her solo material IMO.

Tears is an excellent song, made better all thanks to Clean Bandit.

Like others have said, it's a very clever move from SYCO. I can see this shooting up to #1 on iTunes by tonight and could well shoot up the Spotify chart.

We really could do with a new single to shift Drake off the #1 spot now.
