So I take it that this will be the last week before all the football clashes come in?

Donnas storyline sounds absolutely tedious. Sounds like a lot of the reserve characters are getting some screen time after some big weeks for the Beales and Mitchell's.

Could Max make a brief appearence?

Steven is back this week

As far as I know Max does not make an appearance, someone visits him...but I don't know if we'll see that visit.

And there's something a bit weird between two characters mentioned..

Still no storyline for Johnny. This is getting a bit silly now. What's the point of bringing a character back and promptly treating them as a glorified extra?

And are we really expected to care about the Grange Hill crap with the Louise, Shakil and Bex?

Oh and this Louise, Bex, Shakil stuff is also tedious drivel. Do I care whether he ends up with the Mouthy shoplifter or the lying goth? No I don't.

All the Carters seem to be having a quiet month, we are no further forward with Ollie. In fact I'd rather the Carters took centre stage over the likes of the Cokers and Donna.

I could be completely wrong but would the two characters be Donna and Vincent? That's all I'll ask, I don't want to say what I think it is in case I'm completely on the wrong lines.

Agreed, I really want to know what's going to happen with Ollie, although maybe they're saving up something with this for Kellie's exit.

I know you are fan but perhaps he is being rested for a bit after his introduction wasn't that popular

You do realise that scripts are written at least six months in advance? Or at least story planning does? They're not going to scrap planned storylines because of some unreliable barometer of popularity based on not very much at all.

I doubt there was much to write for him. Although I agree there is little point to the comeback if he just replaces his sister in the dress up karokee type role that probably made her leave.

Well what are you saying, that he was going to be used but they decided to rest him because (apparently) his introduction wasn't popular (not sure what you're basing that on but okay, I'll go with it for arguments sake) or they never wrote very much for him in the first place?

I mean, it's obviously the second one, because they do plan storylines in advance, they don't just write depending on immediate audience reaction, but that's what I'm trying to say: I can't understand the point of bringing him back to have him do precisely nothing. You'd have thought that DTC would have wanted to have proved Sam Strike wrong when he said that he felt Johnny had gone stale as a character due to lack of development, but if anything they're treating Ted's Johnny even more carelessly than they did with Sam's Johnny by the end.
