All of the soaps have had a pretty big week this week.

Never did I expect EastEnders to put out such a thrilling week on Britain's Got Talent week, but it sure did that alright! You know the show is on top form, when it dents the country's biggest talent shows ratings!

Corrie's big week of secrets has also saw its fair share of Drama. The last 10 minutes of last nights epiaode were fabulous and it was gripping stuff!

Hollyoaks big wedding, which saw the death of Trevor has also received some heavy praise. It's not often the show gets a lot of praise these days, especially on this forum, but it's made a big impact this week. I don't watch the show, but fair play to them.

I haven't really followed Emmerdale this week, but the show is consistently good, so it's only fair I include it in this poll, despite them not putting out any big material this week.

Which soap have you preferred the most and why?

I was gonna do a thread and poll tomorrow to see what people thought was the best BGT wedding week.

I can't pick betweenEastenders, hollyoaks and Corrie because I have enjoyed all three. Eastenders tips the wedding weeks tho because thanks to Steve Mcfadden and Adan Woodyatt there has been some exceptional stuff

but I am going to vote Emmerdale, It didnt need to put on a show for BGT wedding week, it just got on and I have enjoyed it as much as I normally do and it has some good storylines at the moment. oh and holly getting one over on charity was great

I've only seen Emmerdale today so can't really comment on that but i do feel it's been quite poor several weeks now.

It'd varied from night to night. I though EE was very good on Monday and Tuesday, HO brilliant Tuesday and yesterday (first look) and Corrie surprised me last night as I wasn't expecting the crash.

But overall i think i'd have to say EE.

I have enjoyed Hollyoaks the last few weeks really, Silas killing Lindsey was great and this week has been good too. In Corrie, it was only really lasts night's episode that I really enjoyed, the others fell a bit flat, but I did like tonight's though. EastEnders has been consistently excellent too the past few weeks, it's nice to see EE denting BGT's ratings too.

EastEnders has packed a punch these last few weeks, it's been a conveyor belt of drama and I'm glad that following Peggy's death they've moved on into another big storyline that involves pretty much all the big characters.

EastEnders has been on top form.

I don't think anyone really saw Bobby confessing to Lucy on top of the GBH on Jane coming.

Corrie has been dreadful. A grim exit for Carla.

Hands down, EastEnders.

The show is on fire. The whole Bobby storyline has been fantastic as the twists and turns have kept coming. Corrie has been in its shadow for years but this week showed that even in its yearly BGT week it can't even bother making any effort.

Carla's exit was a disgrace.

Emmerdale was it's usually relaxed and understated self for which it should be admired for it didn't fall into the trap over overdramatic pantomime that EE and Corrie did during BGT week.

I thought Corrie was on top form especially the dead body drama!

Eastenders and Hollyoaks Monday to Wednesday. Emmerdale was bloody brilliant last night though. The dialogue was cracking

Are those buzzwords for boring? There is a reason why the much superior Coronation Street gets higher ratings and more public exposure.

Oh yes because Corrie was so well acted and gripping with dummies flying around all over the place and not forgetting Tracy having yet another revenge filled strop.

Oh I admit there was one very dramatic ending of the Kabin paperboy getting wiped out.
