Congrats to Adam on filming his 3000th episode today. Also as you can see he was filming in the hospital so I guess we can take this as a sign Jane's recovery will not be on par with Jack's overnight miracle.

How many episodes of EE have aired in total?

I'm presuming that no body else has aired in as many as Adam?

Jack took months to recover. Honestly some folk can't make a nice thread without making some sort of dig.

Congratulations to a EastEnders legend.

Congrats to Adam! But i'm guessing this means Ian doesn't get punished for his role in the cover up

Wow 3000 episodes

I think that Steve McFadden has filmed the 2nd most episodes (IMDB says 2600+)
Including tonight's episode, 5292 episodes of EE have aired in total.

Spoiler

Must be a well out of date website where you got that episode count from. It's been running for 31 years and has had four episodes for that last fifteen years the above quoted 5,292 sound about right. But appearing in almost two thirds of the aired episodes is pretty good going.

I know actors can never say never, but with someone like Adam, do you reckon he will have a place in EE as long as he wants assuming he does nothing silly in real life? Or is it equally feasible producers could decide to write him out?

In short, is he 'in with the bricks' as they say?
