Today in the local KFC while waiting for my meal I heard them playing a song with explicit lyrics in using the F*** and S*** words in. Music like that doesn't bother me with having CDs myself such as a N-Dubz album. Wonder if shops and restaurants are allowed to play that now in town.

I once visited a shopping arcade playing Ian Dury's Plaistow Patricia.

If I had been in there, I would have said something to whoever was in charge and then if they showed no intention of doing anything about it, that would have then been my last time being in there.

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. The goal is supposed to be attracting as many customers as a business can anyways, not giving them a reason to get up and go somewhere else.

They probably let one of the staff put their own music on. A lot of places do it, although it can backfire as demonstrated by this example.

I thought you meant owning up to having been in a KFC.

Before something else get said on here why do people always have to attack me about these kind of subjects? Say I hadn't of mentioned that and you'd have probably called me a wimp or something thinking I didn't like music with swearing in saying there is nothing wrong with that OP. I've seen it all before and that was to make you know that I don't mind those kind of tracks. Sometimes I have to get a bit hard when these things happen.

I remember being in the Virgin Records on Princes Street Edinburgh sometime in the mid 90's and them playing Killing In The Name on their in store radio station, though they pulled it about 30 seconds from the end.
