Beau is the better singer but everything she does is choreographed and managed to the extreme. I didn't think much of Jasmine's original audition but I think she's very genuine and it's easier to be moved by her performances even though her voice isn't as strong.

Much preferred Jasmines performances, music choices and costumes....... A far more natural child performer, and much, much more marketable.
Beau suffers from Stage Mommy Syndrome (just like Hollie Steele did) - mum is pushing her to be the star that mommy wishes she was good enough to be! Beau is definitely a fabulous singer and performer - but chose absolutely the wrong song tonight - as many have said "Let it Go" would have been a far better choice - and she must have a bigger repertoire to choose from that just"Defying Gravity" and whatever that obscure semi final thing she did. I was very glad to see Jasmine place higher than Beau on tonight's performances. |

It's more a matter of different tones to their voices rather than it being a question of who has the better and stronger voice. They are both equally good singers and Jasmine's voice is certainly not weaker.

So pleased that Jasmine did well - my favourite singer this year. She didn't do all the shrieking that so many do these days, she just has a wonderful pure voice. I think she has a big future.

Look, I preferred Jasmine's performance, but I think this sports day approach of "they're equally as good!" is disingenuous. Beau objectively has better projection and range, but the fact that Jasmine can deliver a performance that good with a more limited instrument speaks very highly of her control and talent. Saying that they're both the same completely diminishes that.

Her voice is strong. In her first audition towards the end she reminded me of a young MJ on some notes. She just doesn't sing belters from musicals.

Beau certainly has a more powerful voice, but I'm not all about the power. Jasmine's voice has a tone that I find much more appealing, and she has a warmth that Beau lacks. Maybe Beau will gain warmth in time, maybe not, but Jasmine has it now.

Beau has an excellent voice. If that's so, then why didn't she get more votes than Jasmine? It seems most prefer Jasmine's voice, and the fact she received more public votes than Beau speak for themselves. Beau is a good singer but I don't find anything exceptional or spectacular about her voice. |

They're both good. But I much prefer Jasmine, effortless and so relaxing to listen to. Like medicine for the ears. Beau seems a bit detached when she talks, although this may be because she is shy and doesn't communicate well. Her singing is very good, but stage school and theatrical. I can't connect to her. Her song was not good for her and they put her in a hideous dress that didn't help her.

Jasmine 100%.
Beau is everything I dislike about kids on TV shows. Stage school trained (and it so very clearly showed) with mummy in the background telling us all how normal she is. Everything about her performance seemed fake, she's been trained to know which parts of the song are emotional and trained to show emotion in them. There's no denying her voice is exceptional but personally she is everything I dislike about kids on TV shows. Jasmine is far more natural, her smile is infectious and her happiness at being there's just shines through. She doesn't come across as staged in any way. She was a joy to watch. I really enjoyed Jasmine's performance, I managed about twenty cringe worthy seconds of Beau's before I hit the fast forward button. So I'm thrilled that Jasmine did better overall. |
