Beau Dermott
Maybe is was our tv or because it's live but she looked like she was miming the song, her mouth didn't move at the right times.
![]() She is so cute though and has a fantastic voice! |

Just the VT/sound delay.
She is very good, but for me, I prefer to see someone older sing a song like this. |

What the frick was she wearing though? It was like some weird 1930's negligee. I presume Alesha's been giving her fashion tips.

I think there's been sound issues all night. She's a great talent but I wish she'd sang another song. Probably would have won easily if she'd sang Let it Go.

![]() But fantastic voice. I thought Jasmine might have it in the bag because she is so relaxed and natural. I think the song choice has a lot to do with it though and neither song blew me away. I have absolutely no idea who will win. |

There is just something that can't bring me to warm to her - it's very staged.

She is good but, she is only Twelve. Perhaps if they had let her sing a happy song more fitting for her age things might have been different.

I wondered why she was allowed to basically repeat her audition? All the other acts had to do something new. Jasmine for example sang a different song. Sadly for Beau if you check out her audition THAT take on the song was sublime. Last night it was poor and I was not surprised she didn't make the top 3.
But 12 is too young to be on this sort of show with so much pressure. I was pleased that Shannon from the dance act gave Beau a cuddle when her name was called out. No child should be standing on a stage being judged by the nation at that age. Lovely smiley Jasmine, 2 years older, was a much better performer. And her dress and hair decorations were perfect. I hope both girls put this show down to experience and follow their musical dreams away from the cameras. But I would really like to see an age limit of 14 in future series. Or a childrens version. (Every paper told us Beau was the more of less unbeatable. Once again the polls and the supposed experts get it very wrong....) |

Jasmine for me every time.
Beau is very good, but at the end of the day, the question I ask myself is 'would I pay to see this person?' With Jasmine; it's a yes...she has a beautiful, sweet, pure voice. Beau I would not pay to see. She is bland and boring, and screams 'stage school stage school!' and she is not the raw talent that Jasmine is. |

I don't think it's a rule as such, but if you're performing your own material - impressionists, magicians, dance acts, etc - the audience is expecting to see something they haven't seen before. Whereas if you're a singer the audience isn't expecting you to sing something they've never heard before - entirely the opposite. So some singers repeat the song that got them to the final because they think it's what the public want to hear. |

It annoys me more during the auditions where if you're a child, unless you are obviously without any hint of talent but think you're the worlds best, you're seemingly guaranteed to get through to the live shows.
Out of the two girls in the final, I think Jasmine Elcock was far, far better - she was natural, had a beautiful voice, and had a kind of dignity about her. Beau, on the other hand yelled out her song and, as someone above said, just screamed 'stage school' and as such came across as merely processed. |
