He clearly needed more time to rehearse. Regardless his Stewie and Peter Griffin were bang-on!

His Stewie is good, but he said the other day it's one of his oldest.

Personally I don't think much of his act at all

Said elsewhere that his act is not as great as the judges make out but he needed more time. He probably needed to have two routines ready before the semi just in case he made it through.

I agree. Perhaps he just really didn't expect it.

Felt bad for him, he seems a nice guy and whilst his act does not blow me away it's got to be hard when you lose it like that on live TV. Fair play to him for carrying on, others would have crumbled.

Judging by his reaction when he won I'd say that was the case.

I think he was a victim of the fact the final and the semi's were only 2 days apart. He probably didn't think he'd get through so he had to come up with a new routine in 2 days and had no timeto rehearse and the nerves got to him. I've always though it was unfair the people in the last semi basically get NO time to prepare/rehearse for the final, he proved that.

Did he make a mistake? If he did I missed it. If the pictures hadn't come up I wouldn't have know most of them

I felt bad for him too. Once you go wrong once in that situation, the whole thing can fall apart, its really hard to get back on track and he tried his best even though it obviously made him loose his nerve as he made further mistakes and was panicking.

Its really easy to do in that situation, he was under rehersed and the nerves for the final must be massive

EVAN though as stated I voted for him in a he earlier rounds and I think he is a fantastict act.

I judge the act on what I see as a viewer sorry if you hat offends but to me he lost it on live in v similar to other acts ( holly Steele) why shouldn't I have my opinion

I thought so too. I wish he'd perfected his craft and done it in a year or so. He seems like a great bloke and I see talent there.

Me neither. That's why he needs pictures. A good impressionist shouldn't need to tell his/her audience who they're impersonating.

If you remember they used to have semis on the Friday and the acts would admit that they didn't really have enough time to prepare for the next day. Things improved when ITV started showing the Champions League final on the Saturday after the semis meaning they could delay the BGT final for a week. But they don't have the CL anymore so we're back to nearly how it was.

To be fair I think the mistake was magnified by him looking behind at the pictures kind of like of like a singer looking down at the lyrics on stage only worse

I can't believe people (moreso in the main discussion thread) are being so horrible towards the guy just because he made a few mistakes. It must be so hard to remember so many voices and characters in such a short space of time, and with little rehersal, so what if he had to look back a few times, majority of his voices were brilliant, and to do the voices and sing with them is great.

Also why do so many keep saying others are doing the same on Youtube. So what? Other people sing on youtube, people do magic on youtube etc, what a stupid thing to say.

I can't even begin to imagine what its like to be stood on that stage in front of so many people, I congratulate every single act on the stage.

He started doing a voice with a picture of Mickey (I think) behind him then had to change quickly. That threw him.on another one too.

He was terrible! He should have prepared better. Didn't deserve to be in the final in the first place.

Well said. Only parallel I draw from YouTube is the use of pictures because some people on here can't/won't accept that when you are singing pop songs with predefined lyrics you can't throw in comments or catchphrases to make the impression obvious. I suppose they hail impressionists that don't tell you but make it obvious with the content of their act without seeing the hypocrisy.

He tried to change his act. It's a shame with such short time. Much easier for a singer to just choose a different song. This lad would do great behind the scenes of animated movies/TV. Personally I am not really into The Muppet's, Sponge Bob and Family Guy. Good luck to him though.
