Split Screen

I would like a split screen on the red button, this is so we can watch the feet and the top half, sometimes I am so pissed off about footwork comments and never being able to see what the judges mean!!

If there was decent camera work in the first place, you would be able to see footwork and top at the same time.

I agree with Jennifer (above) that decent camera work is what we really need.

I don't think the bbc give enough credit to their viewers. They believe people watch the show simply as a bit of fun entertainment, and why that may well be the case, many other viewers who diligently follow the show year in and year out often develop an interest in actual technique.

So, what I would like to see is, instead of the Len's Lens segment, a segment where actual technique, such as "what is a proper heel lead, when/how it should be used"; or "how hip action in chachacha & rumba should be achieved";, could be explained properly.

It's the perennial complaint from us longtime viewers and Dance fans. If anything, I'd say coverage of the actual steps has got worse with all the added props and furniture on the floor nowadays.

During the 2008 season the website provided super alternative videos of many performances from an overhead camera, so we got an overview of the routine and how much floor coverage there was and Choreography patterns. I must say the difference in floor coverage between Jodie and Ian and Rachel and Vincent was astonishing. I loved watching all those alternative view videos, but sadly it was only a one season website wonder.
