This.

Forget episodes 1-4, this should be the template.

And that umbrella would sell the Dawn for me.

That was great. The first episode that I will probably watch again before it gets a repeat on Dave.

Enjoyed that, MLB has really settled in to his role - and I so want a car that has a special holder for my brolly and dries it for me

They still need to shorten the interviews, I turned over while that was on.

I prefer the old Rolls, but that might be because I don't own a brolly.

The RR film was a yawn fest. Well done CE for being rich and having yet another vintage car.

And whilst I found the Jag film the most intriguing, can you tell me how a car is driven 750 miles through the night just arriving in time at Geneva and looks like it has been fully valeted? Some shenanigans there I feel in the reality of the narrative...

Nice to see a challenge that made sense for once.

Does anyone know the name of the piece of music they played towards the end of the Rolls Royce video, the slow moving piece they played as there were at the end with the sunset?
Tried using Shazam but its being stupid and finding everything but the song.

To sum up my feelings: Everything that was wrong with the first four episodes was right with that one.

All the films were on point (as much as I hate that phrase!) and had a purpose, and even the studio banter was much better.

Have to say that Sabine and Eddie Jordan were not missed.

More number plate controversy though with the plate on Evans roller having 4 of the 6 letters of Brexit in it. AND in the correct order.

Irony that the last challenge was basically Evans vs Le Blanc

Rolls vs rolls or which presenter you prefer

Stupid I know, but my recording cut off before the end - which Roller won the poll? I know I shouldn't care, but I kind of do, at least a bit. (Old one for me...but then I'm ancient. )

Oh yeah, and I agree with the gist of comments above - much the best show yet.

Quite, quite stunning.

It was rather awkward, a bit random, a bit contrived and a bit CHM. It wasn't necessary.

A previous poster said it had been explained as an in-joke, which is fine for those people 'in' on it but to everyone else it comes across as odd, weird and a distraction. And it makes Evans come across as a knob.

It was a good episode and a perfectly fine template to go in the series mix but it's not a template for a whole series, there still needs to be some three-way cocking about which is one area they're really struggling to get right so far.

MLB is really settling into the role, CH and RR are engaging, enthusiastic and very watchable.... and even CE seemed a lot more bearable this week. So perhaps it is coming together.

Why did that car have black numberplates in the studio, and white/yellow plates on the road in Ireland?

The car is too new to legally run black and silver plates, but a lot of owners think they look better

So Chris may run them when at shows or for private use but (maybe the producers) ensured it was legal for on-road filming

Anyone able to get TGX to download in iPlayer? Hanging on my Android tablet right at the end.

Best episode so far. Stunning cinematography. MLB is just so likeable.
