Where are you tonight?
Oh killywimple Jay

I do hope he doesn't think of it as fight or flight.

I hope he is flighty because of his adventurous wanderlust.

That's lovely - he is restless soul. I love the bird gif - it's mesmerising watching it.

I'm sure he will turn up again soon - even Jaybirds have to land occasionally.

Re J on tv programmes, I know I said Graham Norton but I've changed my mind, I don't think he liked TW that much. I have heard him play a couple of tracks on his radio show and he always makes snarky comments about them So not sure about him.

Graham and Jonathan can be a bit pernickety with some of their guests and perhaps in retrospect might not be the right forum for promoting a family show like BIG. Promote Jay , yes but not BIG.
And just as long as J can be restrained around that drinks globe if he goes on Alan Carr. I mean thank goodness they cut his two faux pas with regard to a) sexual innuendo and b) having a dig at SCD the last time he was on. Bless him.

Looks like she is probably just a very young fan, looks like she is wearing school uniform, skiving off school to see her hero, and yes I think we all know that is Flo Rida he is holding.

Ha ha! She probably is skiving off school as you said.

Well that's it. Time for me to try some of that stuff called sleep.
It's very illusive isn't it.

Maybe cat napping on the sofa is the answer

https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com...6a9fe4a5a3.jpg

I follow everyone's advice (thanks BB) but nothing works. I wish my name was J and I could sleep on the proverbial clothes line.

Still I've whiled away an hour or two down the rabbit hole.
My favourite being this at the moment .
Jay, especially at 2.09, shows his vocal skills so well --- I cannot fathom why the producers and management team didn't make more of it.

Well I'm going to post this even though my wee-small-hours-offerings tend to get zero response...don't know if its because it's usually TW or that you've all seen them by now and just pass on by.

Anyhow, this is a clip from their last show in Shawnee. I know it isnt the last performance ever but it is, as far as they knew at the time and it's where they have to say goodbye to their band and team. This bit comes after Jay's meltdown when he had to leave the stage sobbing. He's back and ready to move to what, once or twice, he said was his favourite TW song to perform to, I Found You. Love his moves, great Jiva moments and Tom even joins in with the dancing.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A86U...17#t=83.314198

I've taken this clip from a play mix of all available from Shawnee so if you haven't seen them you can have a browse. Some are a bit upsetting for obvious reasons.

NB I've tried the link above and it skips to the middle of the clip...if it does the same for you you'll have to reset to the beginning...sorry, couldn't fix it.

Never really got the appeal of "I found you" to be honest

*whispers* too much Nathan maybe *whispers*

Watching some parts of the last show is a bit heartbreaking

Morning All,

Thanks for this Speedy - I've watched quite a few clips from the Shawnee gig but I'm not sure if this is one of them. I'll check it out a bit later today. There is one where Jay returns to the stage and says that he wasn't having a meltdown that time, he went to the toilet and lost his microphone!😂

Have a good day all. Xx

Hey Speedy, sorry if I haven't commented on your late night/early morning videos you post,,,I'm usually tucked up in bed

I actually like the Shawnee concert, I know a lot of people can't watch it but it does show how much they cared about TW. By way of complete contrast yesterday I watched these:

https://youtu.be/A05r8QlEnWs
https://youtu.be/lymYxThiaOk

They were filmed in Dubai in Feb 14, which is when I believe they were "making up" after the announcement of the hiatus and subsequent fall out from the various interviews given. Although there is some interaction between them, there appears to be nowhere near the same level as usual. In the GYC one there is an interesting exchange between J and Max at about 1.00, but J seems to spend most of both songs at the far edge of the stage.

I also found an interesting comment under another video I watched yesterday, I think it was an Asian one but I can't find it again at the moment. I like reading some of the comments under the videos, you can find out some interesting nuggets of info, usually commenting on how "J is wearing the beanie the I gave him!". But this one said something along the lines of, Scooter ended their contract early, the UK Man Co then owed Scooter loads of money which they didn't have, so they had to try and pay off Scooter which is why the European leg of the tour was cancelled and the the staging of the remaining tour was massively pared down to save money as also the non-video for last song - Glow in the dark.

Anyway, better get ready for work.

Have a good day x

Morning all!

Every link there is - easy to find whenever you want on page 100 of Part 6
Wow, Fred!

"Thank you " doesn't seem enough for all of the trouble you've gone too here.

I am still really really busy at the moment, but how clever of you to time this for page 100 so that even forgetful ones like me can remember!

I know that I shall enjoy wallowing in all of this at a later date!

Fred - I've only just seen your epic post with all the links. I really don't know how I missed it yesterday, but thank you. I will try to store it in several places as my Hotmail thingy is so iffy.

J's got himself dirty...

(I'm one of the very few who liked his make-up and thought it enhanced the dance and I could easily see him.)

See you all early evening. 👋

Hi Speedy - Am sure you won't have zero response to posting this. Most of the time a lack of response is due to timing or how fast the thread moves on.
Not only did I look at the video you posted but I went down the Shawnee concert "rabbit hole" to look at several more.
I had seen some of the Shawnee concert previously, but hadn't continuing looking at the time because of seeing the one where Jay had got upset.
Hadn't seen these ones and it was good to see Jay being more jokey and having a laugh with Siva. Seeing how emotional they (well some more than others) were at the end I think shows how much the TW journey meant to them.
As Jay has now moved on and found deserved success in his own right it is easier to look back on Shawnee now.
Thank You for posting Speedy - I enjoyed my trip to the "rabbit hole" this morning

Thanks Hannah - that's a new cover to me, so pleased to hear it. That was good control from Jay to go up into his falsetto range and then back down without a crack! I know Tom beats himself up for not having a falsetto (which the other 4 have) but his natural range and control is so good I don't think he needs to!

My bracelet arrived , it fits perfectly and I feel so close to Becks.

https://flic.kr/p/JvqP7d

https://flic.kr/p/HCkex3

In other news, last night I found a horse whisperer reading I'd had many years ago not long after I had Becks. The last question i'd asked her to ask was, did Becks know how much he is loved and cherished .....whisperer lady said Becks yes - he knew.....and when he holds his face close to yours and breathes out gently into your face, he is telling you how much he loves and appreciates all you do for him.
I'd forgotten the reading but over the years that had become our sign of affection to each other regardless. He would rest his head on the shoulder or in my arms and breathe gently into my face or even raise his head very gently to mine. Horses can be quite rough and don't now their strength but he never once knocked me, doing that.
Finding that reading was very poignant.

BIB - Just surfaced from the 'rabbit hole' after looking at Speedys link to Shawnee and your link to Dancing with the Stars sent me back down 'rabbit hole ' again.
They really did under-use Jays talents in TW - Lil'Nath seems to have most of the limelight
Thank you for posting Hannah

Noticed that too Gill - he was moving in time to the beat of the music (even when standing..hope that makes sense?)
Needless to say I focussed on Jay through most of the vide but did compare his movements with the others.
Dance "is in his DNA" and hope we will continue to enjoy his unique talent with dance and music. 🌟 🎧🚶🏻🎤🌟
