Compulsory I would have thought, if we are being unreal, extraordinary and indecent!
It's actually a prerequisite of entry into the gutter.

One MUST be unreal, extraordinary and indecent. Woo hoo

I'm not here, I don't exist
I just want Boris's neck to twist
And string up Farage high and hard
Then fling him from the top of The Shard
Old Blighty's in a mighty mess
Can we be saved by Tory Tess?
Or wander neither out nor in
Like the popularity of Jez Corbyn
Hollande and Merkel new bedfellows
And Nicky making Euro bellows
We've fallen prey to dirty tricks
But that't the world of politics
Some may not agree with me
And if you want to say so, please feel free
But there's nothing I would rather do
Than still be part of the old EU!

Is it available for tourists from EU countries?

Maybe that's where Jay has been hiding out. Starting rehearsals with Aliona

With everything going on he might as well have snuck back undetectedly into the UK.
Yes, I think so...to vote.
YES YES YES YES YES AND YES

Can you tell that I went on an assertiveness course😂😂😂

Hi everyone

I am dropping out the thread for a bit. Really don't want to discuss politics here.

Will drop in again nearer KD.

Bye for now

Being of similar complexion to Mr McGuiness, one would prefer an island with a relatively temperate climate ..
Does a bracing climate qualify as temperate?
If so, may I propose Inis Mór, one of the Aran Islands.
It offers Dún Aonghasa as a picturesque neolithic amphitheatre for dancing, complete with cliff for handy launching of the losing contestant into the Atlantic Ocean.
Only basking sharks, I'm afraid, but as plankton eaters go theyr'e still pretty scary. probably enough

Is it available for tourists from EU countries?
This island certainly is.

Now that your eyes see clearly
You can once more write many an ode;
So don't you hold back - no, really,
For I think it is best to unload.

Found this tweet from Mark Briffa CEO AirPartner. From the 21st June it appears Vin may have been off somewhere for work???
Therefore Aliona could have been rehearsing with Jay for KD.
I may be talking complete twaddle
Who knows😕

I wondered if the gif she posted the other day was of a rehearsal. They must be starting soon.

Don't go jayfan.

Did you vote for 4 dances that you would like to see Jaliona do at KD. Whiffle is gonna have a closing date of this Thursday but hasnt given us the publication date of the results.

We may be cheeky and tweet Ali with them as our "request"😊

And of course if there are about twenty different dances that would be the Jaliona Tour sorted wouldn't it.😉

If it's this, isn't it from Loose Women?

You're absolutely right. Maybe the eyes aren't quite as sharp as I thought!

After the last week and then the football tonight, should think J and A could do the Charleston down Oxford St and no-one would notice!

On second thoughts, probably people would

Have voted on Monkseal's poll.

Had a look at all Monkseal's dances - went back down memory lane . It is remarkable just how good J was. I know Monkseal's had the Jive, but look at the Tango, the Rumba, the Charleston, the Red Paso....

I am a long time admirer of Colin Jackson as he became a super dancer - and wasn't trained for the stage or a musician or singer so had a much longer 'journey' - sorry . I do think Colin had the edge in some ballroom, as did Harry (though both had good music for the QS, unlike J).

But for sheer ability and the high standard of dancing and grace and .... at his best there hasn't been anyone near J.

Listening to Farmers Today early this morning, some who wanted to Leave want to allow GM crops - which the EU bans. There is also concern about bird habitats and pesticides. (Just a little bit about politics - sorry [b]jayfan - I won't say any more, promise) Maybe relevant, considering J's environmental interests? (am interested too)

OT I did like the end of Glastonbury with Coldplay and Michael Eavis

Rebel Wilson is on Graham Norton promoting her West End show, so J might appear . Alright, who would like to have an award for kissing .... like Rebel, or maybe perhaps not Leonardo d C like Jennifer Saunders but ....

BB glad the eyes are better - allowing for clips of J

Thanks for the thanks for putting all the homework links - page 100 if anyone needs them. It seems odd that it's nearly July!

ETA what a lovely story about Becks jnb

My bracelet arrived , it fits perfectly and I feel so close to Becks.

In other news, last night I found a horse whisperer reading I'd had many years ago not long after I had Becks. The last question i'd asked her to ask was, did Becks know how much he is loved and cherished .....whisperer lady said Becks yes - he knew.....and when he holds his face close to yours and breathes out gently into your face, he is telling you how much he loves and appreciates all you do for him.
I'd forgotten the reading but over the years that had become our sign of affection to each other regardless. He would rest his head on the shoulder or in my arms and breathe gently into my face or even raise his head very gently to mine. Horses can be quite rough and don't now their strength but he never once knocked me, doing that.
Finding that reading was very poignant.
jnb What a delightful remembrance. Thank you.

If it's to be the Aran Islands we can move forward as follows with the gutter expansions.

J has a healthy lead at 62.8% now on the Radio Times poll.

And who wouldn't want to vote for him ...

Night all xx

Completely OT
Just watched Christine and the Queens on Graham Norton.
Not thrilled about the song but LOVED LOVED the dancing.
Stunning. Really recommend.
( not pop/hiphop 'dancing'- more contemporary style)
Catching up with the backlog!
I saw them on Later with Jools Holland a month or so ago and thought they were really good and very different - more like the music and dancing were equally important.
