Loved this . Especially "By Jaybird Inspired" Oh to have a Jay-a-like in my youth. Too long ago though but there was Woodstock.

Excellent - both hannah and you

Dancing together?
I read this as US TWO dancing together DD 😲. Blame Isih for my misinterpretation. I am. It can't be my eyesight again. Can it.?

ETA I forgot that you said you wouldn't be posting from today onward. Have I remembered correctly. Enjoy yourself DD

When you look at this...

...do you see a vase of flowers or a handsome man performing a tantalisingly slow lip wipe?

You do seem to have a lot of plumbing problems, Korky

Ultimatum
The scarlet strobes throw light
Their ultimate dance tonight
No need for them to win

He stands alone, head bowed
The music starts so loud
And let the dance begin

A symbolic tug of war
Twixt bull and matador
With added spins and tricks

The shaping of his arms
Belying other charms
He ducks her flying kicks

His proud demeanour shows
He’s shrugged off all the blows
But will they pay the cost?

The breakout smile comes forth
The viewer votes head north
The ultimatum’s lost

When honour conquers all
And ultimatums fall
‘Tis then new life begins

The 4th edition of the poetry collection is now available here:

Yes, my plumbing needs lots of attention but J is doing a superb job, often working through the night. I find him totally reliable and satisfyingly thorough.

Another great ode, and thanks for collating all the poems.

Thanks for the 4th edition, DD, with pretty pictures on the cover too! Now saved in iBooks.

I don't quite know how, because I usually manage to read everything on here, but edition 3 passed me by.

A special thank you to all of the talented poets and their contributions!

It's a Stateside show, so may be some involvement from across the Pond?

Thanks Jayfan, our mission in life is to help you while away train journeys.

Here's my last fudging rant – well, for this week anyway

The strictest of the picky judges
Alienates by showing grudges
To those who fail to toe the line
And answer that they will decline
To follow puppetmaster rules
Or lemmings who resemble fools
Retrieve your ego from the floor
Leave your dignity at the door
But he who shows a stronger will
That’s matched by gorgeous dancing skill
Surmounts the craven blunderbuss
Wins hearts and minds with lesser fuss
And triumphs over grinchly cant
With soulful moves and ne’er a rant
His prize? A brand new lifelong friend
And new horizons to extend

I sincerely hope not.

We have more than enough talent this side of the pond.

Utilise excellent British/Irish actors and actresses whose names will be well known by the British public

Sorry to quote myself.

Do we think there may be some publicity junket to go along with the announcement of cast members.
Ie producers, director, LEADING MAN, etc to garner further publicity for the production.
I suppose it might not seem likely.
I will paraphrase Lola again. Oh pooh sticks, I am over thinking it again😟

The moral here is clear to see:
Always a good rebel be.
You'll lose the battle but win the war
And gain admirers by the score.

Dance to your own tune naturally
And spurn the puppeteers valiantly.
With grace, elegance, poise and flair
You provide the answer to our prayer.

We see you feel the dance so much
With the sweetest, deepest, subtlest touch
So... to thine own self be true
And all other dancers you'll outdo.

I think tomorrow may be firmly focused on potential audiences in Ireland, but may be picked up by the media here as long as there's not much else to eclipse it. There'll be more PR for Plymouth, but the major push will be for the West End I think.

Did I read somewhere that Gary Wilmot is playing the store owner?

Keep watching those pooh sticks, and keep writing!
