Tennis🎾 (Yes!) Hurling (Yes!) Football -⚽️ Well would have liked Italy and Iceland to go through but still good.
I almost felt we won a sports competition the way we fended off the stiff competition
and Jay was crowned "Radio Times Reality Star" -🌟👑 🌟Official - Stamped!!!🎉

Hope you all had a good weekend. It seems that for most it consisted of tapping4Jay! I had a few goes but didn't have a lot of spare time. Well done everyone who has sore digits this morning!

I was out on Friday night for cocktails, 4yr old's party on Saturday and yesterday was taken up with Bike rides to the local for lunch, followed by 4 hours erecting a trampoline.
What an absolute palaver. Why don't men just take the time to read the instructions properly before they begin? By the time I stepped in he'd already got some holes facing the wrong way but couldn't dismantle the structure to rectify it. He then didn't read how to put the springs in so had to start again from scratch. Then he put two in the wrong place which we couldn't get out so we had to saw it off - now we're missing 1 spring. Aarrrrgh! Lord knows how long it will last...

Sorry this post is completely OT. Just need a bit of a rant. I'm also having a saga with finding out what class my 4yr old will be in next September. Feeling really frustrated and emotional about the whole thing. I was glad it was sunny today as I had a bit of a weep behind my sunglasses on the way back from school. I'm just being pathetic so ignore me!

Anyway, I've almost finished the next three chapters of Falling Slowly. Just struggling with a bit of dialogue at the moment. It's been too long since we heard J's dulcet tones...I think I'll have to go down the rabbit hole, purely for research purposes of course.

I believe that calendar-wise I am older than you. However, my brain is stuck at 20-ish and my left knee has advanced to 140.

One of the very few food things we really miss over here is English sausages - French ones are always chewy. And (whisper) among those sausages are ordinary bangers, for which there is no substitute unless you can get to M&S in Paris
