A poem based on speedy's Gangsta Motto for Life — love it Korky
Erm... yes... erm... Of course that's exactly what I intended it to be.

By the way, Plumber J is just preparing to fill my expansion tank.

A flyby post, so sorry for not linking with others, but regarding Jays casting as Josh...I recorded the interview with Producer Michael Rose who described Jay as:

"the most charming, naive, delightful human being who's got a childlike quality about him that is absolutely perfect to play this role of Josh Baskin....we've got three other names that we'll announce later on that will be joining him in the line up here for BIG the Musical"... "he is fantastic. I mean, he is Josh Baskin. We did a big photo shoot on the piano keys, you know that iconic scene in the movie where they're dancing on the big piano keyboard and, er, we went into the studio to see him and one of the other leading men dancing with him and, er, it was just, I mean the hairs on the back of my neck stood up, I was just so excited because we discovered right there and then that we'd made the perfect choice to lead and head up this new musical."

As far as the possible casting of Gary Wilmot...I believe that was based on the fact that Jay followed him on Twitter at around that time...no other supporting evidence as far as I know...but credible.

Anyhow, we'll know more in the morning

ETA "Gangsta motto for life" Haha, love it Hannah and DD

Also, Korky...'twas my pleasure...twitter is a huge source of intellectual and stimulating pleasure if you carefully choose your follows.

Yes, yes, yes and yes to all four adjectives - Jayjectives? - and they invite analysis, I think...

Thanks Speedy

Very exciting - do hope they are some one I like.

If anyone can listen to the radio show in the morning, and post an update on the thread, that would be appreciated.
I will be on my way to work.

Nightie night everyone

If he's finished, I need him to check my lubrication and my big end before my 3-hour drive tomorrow ...

Should we set Hannah a limerick task?

J's dipstick is rather worn out and gungy through over-use at present. I'll give it a good going over before he goes to you.

Thanks Jayfan, our mission in life is to help you while away train journeys.

Here's my last fudging rant – well, for this week anyway

The strictest of the picky judges
Alienates by showing grudges
To those who fail to toe the line
And answer that they will decline
To follow puppetmaster rules
Or lemmings who resemble fools
Retrieve your ego from the floor
Leave your dignity at the door
But he who shows a stronger will
That’s matched by gorgeous dancing skill
Surmounts the craven blunderbuss
Wins hearts and minds with lesser fuss
And triumphs over grinchly cant
With soulful moves and ne’er a rant
His prize? A brand new lifelong friend
And new horizons to extend
The moral here is clear to see:
Always a good rebel be.
You'll lose the battle but win the war
And gain admirers by the score.

Dance to your own tune naturally
And spurn the puppeteers valiantly.
With grace, elegance, poise and flair
You provide the answer to our prayer.

We see you feel the dance so much
With the sweetest, deepest, subtlest touch
So... to thine own self be true
And all other dancers you'll outdo.
Just read these before I head for bed - (been a long day travelling, visiting and trying to write a review that isn't flowing right for me) bit tired so short thank you and praise before I retire.
DD and Korky - Love Love Love both of these.

Thank you DD also for posting 4th edition

Hi BB I hope no US connections - would really like to see Irish/UK talent on stage with Jay...certainly enough talent on this side of the pond.
Nite now

Ups and downs, you know. Up tonight

Working in a beautiful part of the country this month and found myself pulling over to the kerb to enjoy the view in the late evening sun. The smell of mayflower and the sound of the roosting birds coupled with that of distant lowing of cattle...fair filled my heart with joy.

Stopped to taste the strawberries tonight....has to be done every now and then.

Exam period over now? How did it go?

Ditto Polly, jayfan and whoever else said: very much hoping for no US connections, we have enough excellent actors and singers here, thank you very much
Say no more, and wish very much for suspicions to be unfounded

In other thoughts......my money's on Gary Wilmott, Diana vickers, Martine McCutcheon and / DVO. And hopefully NO ONE American!

Really dislike Denise... another loud over-confident person and seemingly the antithesis of J.

I live in Bucks and the countryside around here is so serene and beautiful.

Half term now , he has a few to go back and sit last one is on 17th June.

Paid off the holiday today so have got a week in Turkey to look forward to, plus Keep Dancing at MK and Big next year in the West End.

E.T.A JayFan I aim to please wish I could go into more detail about them, perhaps I should write a blog or book about them.
