BIB She copied a few tiny bits as you can recognise from the original, the iconic 2 fingers over the eyes / holding her nose / wrist resting on her head move. But Mia and Vincent were in a contest dancing the Twist, not jiving, so Aliona's wonderful choreography for that bit was all her own work. And as it was Movie week on Strictly, she obviously had to interweave her choreography with the movie's ones to create the theme, so totally exonerated.

It made me laugh at the time how a few people were complaining that Aliona copied wholesale from the film, when all she did was the styling and a few signature moves! Some people wanted something to pick on and made themselves look very silly, because they obviously hadn't even seen the film, otherwise they would have known the truth!!

Hello everyone- back from Ibiza (family holiday) and back on my PC which makes posting easier

Looking forward to seeing the jive on the SCD launch show- as it's the only dance they will do and will probably be pre recorded I expect the hair and make up will be so much better than on the tour- if this is the case then I'm happy to keep the theme

Just a note re RL- Got my exam results on Saturday and I managed a 1st overall, with four 1sts and two 2:1s in the individual modules, meaning I should be able to transfer to Biomedical Science in September

also had a successful interview last week so should start working soon- all is very happy in my world at the moment! (I'll stop writing before I get carried away and bore you all

)

I think Aliona would have tweeted if KD was not on the cards anymore. She does answer queries (and stupid DF press fiction).

I should like to apply for the position of Settler-In as J's flat still has packing boxes around and possessions on the floor, maybe in need of more furniture. I would help him in any way he wanted and not impose my style at all, of course. I would also 'do' for him. (Ask your mothers or grandparents.

If you are appointed (as if that won't happen

) I would like to apply for the post of Assistant to the Settler-In specialising in furniture choice & construction - from IKEA of course. I am a dab hand at flat-pack assembly ( yes I do read the instructions), have my own electric screw-driver , Wallace & Gromit toolkit, & a nice selection of alun keys

Yes, Ibiza was lovely- great weather, hotel was really nice and we were right next to the beach! So nice to be able to relax as it will be all systems go next week!
