OH GOD is that it... Come on that seriously can't be it there has to be more since some posters are still moaning about her copyright infringements... I knew that she in co operated some of the moves for their PULP FICTION theme jive!!!! If anyone outside our bubble is reading this HELLO it's pulp fiction inspired so of course Aliona will have felt inclined to put some pulp fiction inspired moves. I would have been extremely disappointed if someone got such a theme and didn't use it to their full advantage again proves my point on how on point and clever Aliona was to put those moves in a JIVE?!?!? Like come on who else can do that. Sorry for my rambling but I thought she copied her own choreography from the film the way some posters have been harping on about its like she committed a crime Wow such lengths some would go through to hate on someone..

Ano it's best to totally ignore these other posters other than to correct factual errors.
After all they will only ever like their faves so it's best to let them go on and on and on and on. Yes and on and on even more😂😂

At the end of the day Jay and Aliona were the champions🏆👑👑

Well you know the saying: Once you've grouted you never forget...

I could certainly assist J with his flexible mastic too.

On other news have you guys decided on which dances You would like Jay and Aliona to perform on keep dancing, I've been re watching all of them and they all stand out its impossible to choose wonder how their choosing, But if I were to choose then I would pick the Tango because it leaves my heart racing super fast and they both looked HOT, then theres the waltz for a change of speed and feeling this was the first dance that I think made people aware of how good Jay is and their partnership was starting blossom, then theirs the salsa which was I think the only party dance they did and it turned the best of the night, and obviously paso they have confirmed.

Voted on Monkseal's poll- for Jay and Harry of course

Just a note re RL- Got my exam results on Saturday and I managed a 1st overall, with four 1sts and two 2:1s in the individual modules, meaning I should be able to transfer to Biomedical Science in September also had a successful interview last week so should start working soon- all is very happy in my world at the moment! (I'll stop writing before I get carried away and bore you all )

That's all I can think of to say right now
*waves to those on the thread and sends hugs to those who may need them xx”

Quite spectacular results there, I hope you are suitably proud of your achievements! Never bored to hear happy people! But you are rather late with your homework

Hi Ano - if you keep going downstairs you're going to need some tranquilisers, I think!

Do you know when I read this I thought to myself, "Korks has finally lost it, she already does this job", I even trawled back pages to find the Jayjobs list and nope it doesn't exist, it obviously does in some parallel universe that exists only in my head

Respect to you for thinking of it

You have my blessing but don't forget I am custodian of the Tool Box so I will be keeping a beady eye that you do not let him overuse the trusses and connectors on the cross-bracing. I have been endeavouring to teach him the rudiments but he will keep getting distracted by a new love of camper vans and how the dining table transforms to a double bed. It is getting exhausting the number of times a day he makes me show him how to do the transformation.

I think I may need to go for a little lie down now while he is sleeping.

BIB I am in agreement. But I do think she deserves a mention in despatchs for her excellent find on the Yurt front. (Oh my that looks like YFront😂..)
I wouldn't mind a holiday in one of those myself. As long as it was somewhere dry and warm.

The footie can't be that good can it cos himself is fast asleep in front of the telly

I have not the relevant file on this little machine but I do recall when he first mentioned coming back to the UK some discussion of cushion-fluffing which eventually got absorbed into some other duty - possibly you were involved in this yourself?

ANO great minds think alike😊

We all voted each picking our 4 fave dances (over the period of about 4 weeks) with a closing date of 30th June

Whiffle collated the results and produced some sterling and magic work.

Please have a look because I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I will report back tomorrow!

Footy over but now have to listen to the afterburble. I can take the sport, but the hour before and the hour after devoted to people not listening to themselves talk is a bit much. We are obviously too kind to the plumber who has no telly of his own (or at least no electricity at the moment)

His cushions are of the permanently fluffed variety and are in constant use... 😻

We are now utilising his sliding bevel and working out the optimum angles for the best outcome.

If anyone dropped into this thread unknowingly and read that, they'd be very confused

Loved your phrase 'afterburble' Isih describing all the football pundits talking away - agree it is very boring. Even OH, who likes sport, doesn't bother with a lot of it.

Do agree PollyT and Hannah that Aliona finished Strictly on a high - do hope that she can continue in some way on ITT maybe?

Hope too jnb that the second half of this year is much better for you.

CatO9Tales - love your phrase 'stealth bombing the IKEA thread' - love your comments there too, very funny!

Took me ages to work out the 'Emperor's new clothes' on a different post there - though think the poster was, in the end, complimentary about J and A.

Hello to LL - hope you are continuing to do well
to Ano - do have a look at Whiffle's magic work,
to TT - funny input on IKEA thread
and to Beth - brilliant! Congratulations! Have a good summer

If Beth, you want to do some late homework all the homework links are on page 100

Have a look at katt's new J and A compilation too - it's great
https://youtu.be/E00cXloG9z0
All backstage and rehearsal footage so very relaxed and shows such a lovely partnership

Do agree fatskia that the Jive was the 'complete package' and hopefully will be even more perfect too Had forgotten that the Winner's Dance is recorded for the Launch Show - so no nerves

Have always watched Strictly from the very beginning - and ITT after it started. I wondered if next year would be a bit of a let down after J and A's great partnership and wonderful dancing. Some of the new celebrities which have been suggested for the next series look nice and interesting (some don't!!) so it should hopefully be entertaining, but it won't be the same.

Aahh, Andy Murray crying - great game! Having to take an ice bath

Remember Eddie Izzard having to do that after each of his 27 marathons for Sport Relief.

Wonderful wheelchair tennis too

Took me ages too! And I couldn't actually work out whether she was being complimentary about those dances or denigrating them. Or just taking the mickey out of those who now wish to denigrate them???

Murray was magnificent today. And he was clearly having a lot of difficulty stopping those tears. That must have been building up for a long time.
