Newark Children's Bereavement Centre recognised with Queen's Award for public service Brilliant news ![]() A little bit of Final homework from me. http://aliona-vilani.org/2015/12/19/champions/ Know I've posted this before, from katt's lovely site. It's really interesting to keep watching after J and A are presented the Glitter Ball. Can see how friendly the 2015 group were. K or K congratulated J and A as you can see J acknowledge it. Later on when the credits are rolling can see Georgia walk firmly up to J to tap him on the shoulder to congratulate him - it's hard to see but can see J pick both A and Georgia up. Later on Giovanni holds his hands on J's face. The whole thing - with the Pros lifting J up, Tristan hugging Aliona and everyone jumping in a circle - looks so good natured. I just think it all looks so happy. Bit more on Big. Do you think DVO might play his Mum - as the Mother of a 12 year old boy would be quite young? She's tall too, so would look fine as J's Mum. Though DVO not entirely my cup of tea, she's an experienced West End performer and Gary Willmot is very experienced in top class Musicals. It all looks good if it's correct. ![]() ETA Gosh, I like that photo of Big ![]() PS hannah everything is the same for me - links, Smilies *waves* to MgG27 Hope things get better jnb, everything crossed |

I live in Bucks and the ountryside around here is so serene and beautiful.
Half term now , he has a few to go back and sit last one is on 17th June. Paid off the holiday today so have got a week in Turkey to look forward to, plus Keep Dancing at MK and Big next year in the West End. E.T.A JayFan I aim to please wish I could go into more detail about them, perhaps I should write a blog or book about them. So the main roles are cast...really pleased with Gary...he's a seasoned WE performer who, hopefully, will be a good role model, if not mentor, to Jay. Less pleased with DVO... but I'll reserve judgement as I only saw her in one show...she may be great in BIG...hope so. |

Jay, the man, is always so charming
As he danced he could be alarming Now he takes to the stage The audience will gauge His performance to be so disarming. |

"Gary Wilmot, Denise Van Outen, Diana Vickers and Irwin Sparkes (former lead singer of The Hoosiers), who join Jay McGuiness in the musical version of the old Tom Hanks movie Big."
Scroll down nearly to bottom of article page. It's just above the photo of Jay and Gary on the keyboard which BazBam tweeted earlier. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...ect-storm.html |

So Diana Vickers playing Jay's girlfriend and Denise his Mum then ? Diana is a year younger than Jay, and a pretty girl - sounds great for the role
Or maybe someone slightly older might have worked better to make the age difference from the character of Josh more believable ? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diana_Vickers |

Remember Diana Vickers from X Factor and Little Voice.
Quite like her. Really like the guy from the Hoosiers. ETA BazBam says that it will only transfer to the West End if successful, as we have already discussed. It is not guaranteed. |

Spidey senses were working last night, fellow Jalionistas, looks like our sleuthing way back when we noticed J following DVO and Gary WIlmott were right!
Diana was about 4th in the X Factor and has been in several successful WE musicals since then. |
