The thread isn't exactly very cluttered at the moment, so post away. I posted one this morning then changed my mind. I've watched, what feels like hundreds on YT, so have seen lots already but I never remember to mark them into my library so always good to see them again, or see new ones.

Thanks, it just seems a little less Jay content recently and I wondered if no one wanted to see pre-Strictly Jay anymore.
I love TW videos and anything about him so anything new is amazing but I appreciate perhaps not everyone likes him before strictly, only dancing Jay?

It's interesting to see where the links take you - I'll often watch the initial one, then spend far too long wandering through the others on offer. But then again, I'd never heard of J or TW before Strictly, so there's a bit of a back catalogue for me to catch up on. It's the online equivalent to sitting in a café watching the world go by, very pleasurable and sometimes surprising. I particularly love their acoustic sessions, that for me is where they really show just what a talented band of brothers they are. I think I already said that, but it's true, so I'll say it again.

Before last year's Strictly I didn't really take to Aliona, but I really appreciate now just what a great dancer and choreographer she is, and what she did to open the way for Jay is beyond measure. I really, really hope she doesn't give up the world of dance, she has so much more to offer, especially with Jay. I saw on one of the threads that there's a new ITV dance show in the offing, not enthusiastically received by the posters, but I did wonder if there were plans for Aliona in that.

I certainly watch some - and then end up following whatever trail pops up! Definitely keep posting ...

I think the variety of contributions we get on here is great, and I don't mind video links being posted at all! Sometimes I have a look, sometimes I don't, depending on what time I have, but I always appreciate the effort put in by everyone to make this thread entertaining.

I don't thank people often enough for all the work they put into all the many facets of this thread - you all give a lot of people, me included, a great deal of pleasure. So - a huge thank you, peeps.

Oh Jnb please please don't stop posting The Wanted links - I watched yours and Speedys this morning as hadn't seen either before. I would never have seen The Shawnee Concert (even if parts are a bit sad and uncomfortable) if the links hadn't been posted.

I think Jay said something about seeing a singing coach (when in US in preparation for BIG) the last time he was interviewed on radio (Spin Radio interview)

Not a dumb question at all. Yes, it was this (BIB) interview that made me think he may go back to Mama Jan to polish up the vocals. Despite being so upset at the way it was put to him, I think he did find her coaching valuable. Have you watched TWL at all? Some of it is predictably boyband, but there are some interesting snatches into people's characters in there that I found fascinating, particularly the initial interviews with Ryan Seacrest.

There doesn't seem to be a limit to how much people can post on this thread, which can only be to the good, as the wide variety of input makes it interesting to follow - maybe not all of the people all of the time, but that doesn't really matter because pretty much everyone here is interested in J&A, separately or jointly, in whatever form they choose to express it.

I don't feel like I'm the only male as there are all the male pro's so I actually feel like the worst one!

I think there has been alot about current Jay thanks to people like Rosa.

Amen to that! I think sometimes the pros get a bit too slick and forget about the soul of a dance, which Jay expressed so eloquently, so many times.

Yes, I've never cried when watching any pro performance but J elicits many tears with his evocative lines, looks, moves, almost thoughts... He's so expressive. He can really convey a story, probably by truly feeling it or empathising. That's one reason why I think he'll be a great actor in Big.

Dance seems to be inside him - he feels it so deeply & I think this is what we see & connect with.

I am on holiday so should not be posting. Just wanted to say I read and watch everything posted. Not always immediately, I save them to watch later. And I LOVE The Wanted stuff- it's where Jay came from, so you've got to love it!

Evening all - no Whiffle, still no fan but managed a quick session this afternoon with the desk fan blowing into the casing! Should arrive end of next week.
