Good. Morning,everyone .
One last post before we go early morning.

Just wanted to say happy birthday Jay ,and to my O/h a little bit older than Jay , and also ilsih .sorry if I have spelt it wrong.Have a lovely day all.
I would just like to add my thoughts on the posters and the postings.
I like seaside lady, joined this thread mainly because of Jalliona.
And I love it.
I think there are various reasons ,that people have been absent for a while, maybe some don't like poetry, some don't like TW .I don't like all the poetry but I like some ,same with TW. But what I don't like I just skip over, and enjoy the rest.
I try and post anything that is relevant to J & A. Because that is what I'm interested in.
Occasionally some will re ply but not very often ,but it doesn't bother me,everone can't be interested in the same things, and some may think that they its not relevant.
But they mean something to me.but not maybe to others, I am quite shocked when someone replies, tbh.and I go about eibout with a smile on my face all day.
There isn't much going on with Jaliona at the moment ,but I think once K D ,& Big kicks in The absents ones will join in again,
I know I haven't been here very long, but I think sometimes it is quite difficult for new posters to fit in. I know everyone is made welcome, and I am enjoying being on here, like someone said ,it is great to talk to like minded people.
Everyone seems to have busy lives wether working or retired. And this thread means o lot of different things to all people that post. And I respect each one of them, I think I always try and relply to what I like
Hope this makes some sense ,if not just skip over it.
Have a good Sunday, every one and all those celebrating today, have a good one.x

Well said, Drizzle! 👍

I think we all post or are absent, for slightly different reasons. I know I haven't been posting much lately, and that's down to a combination of personal circumstances and not much happening on the Jaliona front.

Am still working on getting the best mobility I can. Am also consciously 'seizing the moment' and doing enjoyable things like going for meals out. Am listening to audible books online, and am trying to get my 'step count' up each day!

That said, I still come back here and I appreciate every single post, including (maybe especially) the poetry and the TW links. In fact, WOM is fast becoming the soundtrack to my summer of 2016

I'm looking forward to Keep Dancing too. Who knows how many of us may meet up at the various shows? I think the thread will definitely take off again then

Love and thanks to everyone

Some lovely posts this morning, and sorry can't acknowledge everyone like speedy has in her fabulous post, but I'm in the middle of preparing Sunday lunch. You are right speedy, Fred is fabulous in the way she remembers to acknowledge everyone when she posts, and I wish I could be better at that too.

Just quickly wanted to say to Polly - what a terrific birthday poem for Jay and Tom.

And Drizzle - it doesn't matter that you haven't been here for very long, we are all here because of Jay and Aliona, and all posters count whether they have been here from the start or just one day. So please don't feel that you may not fit in - you do. Happy birthday to your OH too, by the way.

Edit: Oops, just seen that Lindy-Loue posted while I was composing my effort.

Me too.

As it is Sunday, I'm going to fill part of it by visiting modern society's place of worship... the supermarket. There, all that is humanity is revealed...sometimes unfortunately.

After that, I may convert the cycle machine from the clothes rail it has become and reclaim it for its intended purpose.

The world is my lobster today.

Good afternoon all. A quick massage not from Holland but from Hungary. I haven't posted for a while but still read everything and love the discussions, poems, limks etc. Have a lot of catching up to do (20 pages behind) as I am on holiday in Hungary at the moment. Very limited internet access here. My daughter and I are in the McDonalds in Kaposvar now because they have free wifi here and airco.

I did vote for J on the monkseal blog but have no idea how that poll ended. Who did win?

Will be back home at the beginning of August and wil catch up than with the pages I missed. Keep it going. No massage on here is tumbleweed for me. I am looking forward to KD at Wimbledon. My ticket arrived 2weeks ago. Will try to go to BIG when it gets at WE.

Will try yo post more when I get back home. Very bussy times at the moment with work, family and 3 renovation projects going at the same time.

Lovely to hear from you Karin, all the way from Hungary!
I have no idea what the Monkseal poll result was either...I wonder if it has been published
Looking forward to KD and BIG too...Hope it transfers to the WE, fingers crossed.
Enjoy the rest of your holiday and safe journey home.

Unfortunately I can't make the KD show - waiting on my second knee replacement and date was originally August but now I am not when it will be. Look forward to the reviews from everyone who is going. Thread will be mega busy then

Lindy After reading what you have gone through I am not looking forward to it as I know I was lucky with my first knee replacement, everything was fine. Hope you are on the mend slowly but surely.

Happy Birthday Tom and Jay

So it was 26 Years ago today
A pair of twins made their way
Into a world🌍 so different from now
Some changes even make us go “WOW”

Their interests varied a lot
Once they ventured from the cot
Parents giving them ‘wings to fly’
No barriers to make them cry

One, artistic, born to sing, act and dance
To MADD he went to take that chance 🎶🚶🏻
The other leaned towards Sports and Business
Now marketing footballs Palace⚽️ with finesse

Their work taking them many places✈️
Fun, busy, demanding, meeting many faces
Arenas holding sport and music fans
For the Goals, The Wanted and Strictly dance

While oceans may divide their homes
These two will never feel alone
No matter where they live today
Their bond still strong, here to stay.👬

Their lives have taken different routes
Neither have forgotten their roots
With loving family in their dear Newark
Regularly they’ll navigate to that hearth

Occasions with family to celebrate 🍾
Or sometimes just to ‘vegetate’😴
In Navigation some pints are raised🍻
Patron and support giving CBC praise

Born together -24th July being their special day
With a love for one another that will never stray
Fraternal blood ties and twin soul mates
No matter what, supporting each others fate💞

So to the special twins Tom and Jay
I want to say a very✨ “ Happy Birthday”✨
Wishing you happiness, luck and love 🍀
Today and always from here to the stars 🌟above

”

Oh Polly this is lovely - caused a little "eye-leakage" here

Hope Jay & Tom have a fantastic day 🎁🎁🎂🎆

Happy Birthday too Isih 🎂🎆🎉🎉

Interesting reading about posting on here. I love the variety & have learned so much. Never thought I'd be attempting (fairly dreadful) poetry or putting videos on YouTube.

You may have noticed that I quite like word puzzles. I have managed to complete the dance acrostics & if you are interested I have collected them together here.

Hi All

Another slightly off-topic post from me! But just to say that this is the only forum I do, so I don't always know forum etiquette and I'm sure I make mistakes. I do read almost almost everything but in bursts when I have time, so sometimes its a week or more before I catch up with a post and I feel awkward bringing it forward again....anyway I don't take offence if people don't respond to my odd mind..
Off-topic but I was watching CBBC with AJ and there was a programme about delightful identical twin girls who have achondroplasia. They are really keen ballroom dancers and they took them to the Strictly live show where they met Len (who was lovely with them) and Steve Backshall (who was also lovely) and then to dance at Blackpool. Just a real feel-good moment on a Sunday afternoon..

Same sad face here! But I am so looking forward to the reviews and pictures if any of you wonderful people manage to get some because I know you'll all be swept up by our two.. Reviews are the ones I'm most looking forward to exciting times coming up

Birthday Thoughts

http://pre08.deviantart.net/d122/th/...eb-d82g34o.jpg

Standing on the brink of tomorrow,
Poised at the edge of the new,
What is our young man thinking
As he envisages a fresh avenue?

His life plan ahead is thrilling:
He can't wait to be up on the stage
Where work and his passions combine.
He's entering a golden age.

His birthday may set him reflecting,
Memories and destiny on his mind,
Perched on the cusp of tomorrow,
His hopes and his dreams unconfined.

It would be a different story if it was GG who were appearing in KD. I do try and keep away from next door but sometimes I just can't help myself.
