Polly - wonderful review. I love the way you describe how you were feeling throughout. I feel like I was there with you. I remember leaning forward in my chair, wine in hand and just wow and oh my god through the majority of the paso and winners announcement! Then it got messy, more wine, red button interview, rewinding and rewatching again and again. More wine...it was 1am by the time I went to bed and *looks both ways* don't tell anyone but I was sick in the toilet.😳 The next day was dreadful. Sooo tired, soo hungover. But they won! Gangsta!😎”

At least you hit it ahouch😈

Isih the job list is excellent . Wow a pie chart!!!!! I've got 11. I thought I only had 1 job. Oops. But Korks honestly 37😲😉

Polly a marvellous review. Such feeling from the actual night

Whiffle the pictures take me back to the final. So triumphant. And yes they won.

Thank you all

Hi All - OT thought
Random musings from a half term cinema - I wanna be like you-oo-oo is a really good tune to dance a charleston to. Check out the new Jungle Book, really good...dancing all the way across the foyer, now officially disowned by AJ and friends

Utterly brilliant work on the Jayjobs Isih
Fantastic reviews Polly T and Whiffle
I confess to also sitting too near the TV and drinking than was sensible.
Congrats Dufnut and SR. I am waiting patiently for my follow...
Sorry to hear you have been poorly Dufnut. Don't worry about bringing the thread down though. Problem shared etc.
Like your style Lola- very quick bid for new Jayjob as Keeper of the Crayons
Lots of fun on Twitter today, inspired by the colouring in.
Jay also hacked Damien's phone and tweeted about constipation. Must drive them mad!

Also thanks to Jay's clues on his tweets, we know we have something on SCD and Fusion festival to look forward to as well as KD and Big.
Am I too old for Fusion?????

Am too delighted for you Dufnut!!!
I had a 'stupid' grin on my face all day when I got a Follow - kept checking my phone in

Am sorry to hear you have been unwell - I hope you will soon be on the road to recovery.
I am glad that Jays follow was able to brighten your day...he is good at that.
Don't worry about bringing the thread down - you won't - 'a trouble shared etc"

Superb work on the Jayjobs Isih and I'm very happy with my Jaypositions.

Loved J's artwork showing his lefthandedness, and his carefully placed papers teasingly revealing nothing.

Lola - J will drop by when he can but at present I am having to give him a hand dealing with an Express Riser. 🗽

I also see that I have been much apostrophised and that you have applied for and immediately been given an art-related Jayjob. Hmmm... Congratulations!

PS I would like to remind Korky that he is only on loan for her plumbing problems and she should stop undoing all his good work whilst he is asleep. I know he is a trusting soul and at the moment is unsuspecting and unsuspicious of her nefarious motives but his Handyman jobs are piling up and he is needed back in Handyman HQ asap. There are a lot of colouring in jobs to be attended to.”

I can't believe it.

Is it a bird , is it a plane, no its Lola beating Korky to Jayjob. Wow half an hour between tweet showing in here and application form.

Kudos Lola.

Wow, Dufnut - shout all you like, well done! Hope things improve for you very soon.

jnb - how is Becks doing?

I see TA is working on a solo project. Glad about that.

Lovely to see J fooling around again - much amused to see his face is bigger than any of the others on his drawing! He's a happy man and it's wonderful to see.

If you combine all scores (i.e. include the scores from the final) then I believe KK and Jaliona end up exactly the same, ahead of GG. Had the jive been marked appropriately, J would still have come out with highest total score.

Something else fascinating from that summary - Kellie had two choices of lowest scoring dances - tango and cha cha. Cha cha was definitely her worst, showing off her terribly stiff back and poor technique, whereas 'stiff' works for her in her tango.

Georgia's equal lowest was her jive from week 1. But instead, she was given her week 2 dance - the rumba, which was far worse. Her jive was actually delightful.

I'm not screaming 'conspiracy', but someone definitely wasn't thinking this through.

Had they had these two dances, I'm pretty sure that GG would have been on top going into the SD. And it would have made a better contrast for her. Although had she scored 10's, there would have then been the argument 'oh, but that wasn't as good as J's' etc. etc.

I don't quite get how Darcey reconciles her comments to J "you're my number one" with comments to the effect that KK should have won (or at least, not contradicting Craig).

Len was all over the place - his script got totally scrambled. He was thrilled with J's FT up to the point where it went wrong. After the Salsa, it was comment to the effect that he'd been waiting to see something as good as the jive, and J had now produced it. Tango, he thought it was fantastic, although with a couple of foot faults. Then suddenly in the Rumba, he says he's not been convinced previously by J as a dancer but now he's convinced (well, then what was he saying for the past two dances?). VW didn't go too well so he was unimpressed and apparently making sure the right people went through to the final. Then in the final, apparently J's been the 'most consistent'. Craig might have been the most persistent in not liking J all that much, but Len could never seem to remember where he was with his storyline. Although that's par for the course with Len.

'twas me. Not as easy as it looks, is it? I was worried for a bit when he did that, thinking he was going to drop Aliona, but of course, he didn't seem to have a problem with it. I still wonder though if it was choreographed or spontaneous.

That's Jay singing isn't it? Great song, and I'm definitely not in the demographic....
I love his voice, gentle, melodic, light yet full of soul.

If I was on twitter I'd tweet him to say how great I think it is. But I'm not, so here will have to do!

Is it really J? I didn't think so. We need a Jayxpert.

I feel the same about twitter but I think, much as I'd relish a Jayfollow, I'd be tempted to send him things and never know if he read them. Then I wouldn't know whether to send him more, and so the cycle would repeat. Anyway, I can see everyone's public twitter without joining.

Who or what are/is White Copper and Hollow.

Not even sure I like it. That seems to be a cardinal sin in itself according to twitter.
