I knew you would I know bad cat for not warning you. I'm practising my "ooooo" and "ducky" faces
Put "ballroom dancers making funny faces" into Google, there are hundreds of websites and posts about it. It's keeping me amused.
If the wind changes......😄
He didn't need to. Karen did more than enough gurning for two!

Oh I do wish we could go back in time and watch SCD series 13 again. Such a thrilling ride. I do miss Jaliona.
I watched the BBC proms. It just left me cold - apart from spotting the bits taken from Jaliona's routines.
So agree
Now Lola, why did you suggest this? I googled when I should be VOTING!

This one's good......

Referring back to my new bible "Miss Karen's facial expressions" I believe that may be the Smug face
Smugly

Some see the shadows
And some see the light
But the boundary between them
Is you.

Some see the light
And some see the shade.
Face sunward to hide shadows
From view.
That's a brilliant song lyric, Korky - I can hear Jay singing that, I hope he sees this.

You never fail to stir an emotional response with your words Korky, they're just a beautiful insight

Making headway with the collection, should be ready to post the next edition tomorrow.
Very sweet of you, DD. Some take days, some hours, but that was 5 minutes prompted by people's different reactions to what they're looking at and interpretations of what they're seeing...

Ta

I am voting but where have the number of votes disappeared to.
It's just the percentages now.
I don't like changes like that mid poll. I want transparency😆

I love when what's being said on the thread sparks an idea, it's my favourite inspiration mechanism because it's so in the moment.

Although the title What Bird am I did flash across my consciousness today. Might see if it takes me anywhere tomorrow.

There is some resistance, I sense
To the use of poetic licence
But to diss what's been carefully written
Will earn you the boom of the Bitterne

But think how pleasant
To write of the pheasant
Not to mention our crush

I found the Wolftrap clip on YT and it's amazing - thank you for mentioning it. Saw Ferri at CG but alas, not with Baryshnikov.
If you go to the end of the Wolftrap performance vid, there's an interesting addition - a warning from Gelsey Girkland (who, from memory, danced the Don Quixote pas de deux with him) about anorexia, which she clearly suffered from. You can see she's not healthy and, despite lots of applause from the audience (because she's their native gal), a lot of her performance is very poor. She cannot sustain the balances or match Baryshnikov in any way because she is clearly too weak.

Apologies TT. I was right there with you . Voting for all I was worth and BOOM💥!! ...............I fell asleep for an hour on the sofa.
Who'd a thunked it. Me the self professed insomniac. Asleep. Wow

Still back to it now. Duty calls. I know better than to anger all those great gods of voting.

Love this KK - the sentiment, emotion and the way you put words together -

Well done on the voting! I kept going for a while yesterday evening but tiredness got me in the end - will do some 'tapping' before I head off this morning
and must retweet Jnbs tweet with the Link
I miss seeing the number of votes too - pity they removed it.
Happy Thursday all ...and ...Keeeeep Voting!!!!

On it!!

PS Is anyone else finding it takes far fewer votes before the portal freezes and blocks votes for a while? Not a huge issue but what with the raw votes tally disappearing too, I'm wondering why the format is changing mid-poll.

I found a video of a SYTYCD audition on YouTube, but haven't seen any others, so I would quite like to see a link, thanks.

I notice that they gave done this for all of the categories. I'm just wondering if the sci-fi person has so many votes that they are masking the figures to make the outcome less obvious? They already had a huge amount when I looked yesterday afternoon.

Just voted a bit before I get started on my day. We can at least help Jay through this round.
