Something else fascinating from that summary - Kellie had two choices of lowest scoring dances - tango and cha cha. Cha cha was definitely her worst, showing off her terribly stiff back and poor technique, whereas 'stiff' works for her in her tango.

Georgia's equal lowest was her jive from week 1. But instead, she was given her week 2 dance - the rumba, which was far worse. Her jive was actually delightful.

I'm not screaming 'conspiracy', but someone definitely wasn't thinking this through.

Had they had these two dances, I'm pretty sure that GG would have been on top going into the SD. And it would have made a better contrast for her. Although had she scored 10's, there would have then been the argument 'oh, but that wasn't as good as J's' etc. etc.

I don't quite get how Darcey reconciles her comments to J "you're my number one" with comments to the effect that KK should have won (or at least, not contradicting Craig).

Len was all over the place - his script got totally scrambled. He was thrilled with J's FT up to the point where it went wrong. After the Salsa, it was comment to the effect that he'd been waiting to see something as good as the jive, and J had now produced it. Tango, he thought it was fantastic, although with a couple of foot faults. Then suddenly in the Rumba, he says he's not been convinced previously by J as a dancer but now he's convinced (well, then what was he saying for the past two dances?). VW didn't go too well so he was unimpressed and apparently making sure the right people went through to the final. Then in the final, apparently J's been the 'most consistent'. Craig might have been the most persistent in not liking J all that much, but Len could never seem to remember where he was with his storyline. Although that's par for the course with Len.”

Agree with all this TT
Len in particular irritated me massively after the foxtrot with his nonsensical comments.

He's a songwriter - it's Jay singing. The other guy is a producer.

Absolutely with you there TT. Time for Len to draw his pension, methinks.

I gave up after about 20 seconds, sure I didn't like it. Even if it is Jay. I like to hear Jay's voice, not a lot of electronics. Though I do understand the desire to experiment within your own field

Yay! Am English, but I was very pleased to hear the French sports news refer to Andy as Scottish (even when he was beating Gasquet). I get fed up of explaining the GB construction!

You don't have to like it just because J posted it, it's like when I post random pieces of music I like late at night, I don't expect everyone to like them. I'm sure J won't be offended if you don't like it.

It does seem a bit odd to me that some people profess "love" for everything he posts, if he posted a link to The Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band would they still gush about how wonderful it is and how it is now on their ipod

And I do not think for a second it is J singing, it doesn't really sound anything like him, completely different accent, I am pretty sure it is Paddy Dalton and yes he is a songwriter but he does sing on Out of Time (only You) that he co-wrote with J.

That reminds me I haven't posted any of my random music choices for a while - you have been warned.

Finally able to catch up and post. RL hasbeen a bit full on, but mostly in a good way.

TT yourJjay progress in screencaps is awesome - loving it! genuflect, genuflect.

Thanks to everyone for the reviews and comments on the last part of the final. You have said everything I thought, but rather better. Quite a relief as doing the homework was a downer as I kept recollecting how I felt and didn't really want that again when I posted. So instead I watched several different vids of "The Sun Has Got His hat On" which always makes me laugh. It is so very cheesy and naff that I have come to love it.

celloplayer so pleased the second eye went well.
Lindy hope the physio is still going well.
jnb fingers and feet well crossed for becks. Will cross eyes once theposting is finished.
Dufnut and Strictly congrats on your follows. Dufnut, I hope your health will soon improve.
Mcg nice to see you're still around. Sorry about the stress.
Isih Such work you do on the Jayjobs. I'm happy to see I'm still Tender of the Tootsies as I remain obsessed with them.

BIG ((((hugs))) to all who need them. And who want them!!

Hi Lindy. Long time no speak😉

I have been tweeting all over to try to find out. Probably won't get an answer but hey ho.

How is everything going now.

I am getting concerned about the state of Chez Korky, these renovations seem to be extensive and never ending. Is it even safe for J to be there all the time, it does sound to be uninhabitable at the moment. Can you please provide assurances that whilst he is employed by you his living conditions are suitable and he has his own bunkbed.

I especially love the parts where Jay, Aliona, and I think Alijaz (were Jaliona a bad influence on him?) go off-piste in that routine!

Hi Hannah

I'm loving the BIG news, J tweets etc.....great to see J seeming more positive (perhaps partly because he is able to look towards being part of a company again)

Physio is slow going but okay - no major problems so far. Other RL issues are tending to dominate, and not always in a good way......

Love your poems and hope you keep writing

Don't you dare you naughty cat. Keep your brass band fetish to yourself!!!😲😲😲😲
Although I bet twitter would explode with lurve 😂

I agree about liking music though. I like what I like and that is it. It can take some time for me to get on with some songs. Now don't shout anyone but I have only just really got into Heart Vacancy.

It's Friday night, the end of the week! (though actually, not, for me...but who cares)...let's party like it's the 3rd of June 2016 🎉🎈🎊 🎉🍷🎊

Polly...loved your heartfelt journey through the final...lots to relate to there.
Whiffle...your illustrative gifs get me every time.

Can't quite put my finger on why I feel so giddy, I've only just knocked the top off a bottle so it can't be that.

It has to be the Jayeffect. Soooo many tweets in one day...what's a girl to do with so much interaction

I think it may be safe to say...Jay has had a very good day (unintentional rhyme ...not for poetic appeal)

No prizes for guessing what the new lock screen pic is on my tablet. ...now this is a big deal...(hint) I never personalise my devices

As you were...

ETA Woah! No dissing of the Brighouse and Rastrick you lot!!

ETA 2 Yay congrats dufnut and Red....you're officially 'followed'

I think the Brighouse & Rastrick Band are great, thank you for giving them a mention, I'm sure they'll appreciate it too. Even my ferrets love them.

Having listened to it several times, I think it is PD singing in the style of J, but they have a similar timbre to their voices. Perfect for J anyway.

Just read a tweet that suggested that someone else is taking over as senior PTB at SCD. If true, might explain why no announcement about pros and judges yet.

What a roller coaster day.
After posting earlier how I had gone from being down because of hospital treatment to over the moon at being followed by Jay I get a phone call to say that my daughter's dance teacher of 15 years passed away today.
Sam is devastated. She has been teaching her since she was 3 but we had known her for many years.
Sam is due to take 3 dance exams on Monday and although is heartbroken she is going to dance her heart out for her.

What an awful shock, but the emotion expressed in the dance will make it all the more meaningful. Virtual hugs to you both, and hoping for happier things.

I am so sorry. Sam must be feeling the loss after 15 years of working together.
To continue on Monday and do her very very best is exactly what her dance teacher would have wanted.
I hope everything goes well for Sam

He is nearing the end of his plumbing work and will be examining my admittance valve tonight. However, he has very kindly volunteered to start on my electrics next. As to his sleeping arrangements, the bunkbeds have collapsed () and so I have been putting him up in my own bed:

Well no harm if someone new takes over - there was some obvious inconsistencies last year which irritated a lot of people...and I am not only referring to how Jaliona were treated. Jameliagate..over-scoring..favouritism..fudging..silly Judge dance choices in final..I could go on..
If the same were to be repeated in SCD2016 the audience would return to X Factor especially now that they have revamped their judging panel.
SCD have a winning formula which they need to protect - not destroy
