Hypothetically, say there are 50 Aidan voters and 49 Jay voters voting simultaneously.
The 49 Jay voters neutralise 49 of the Aidan voters, vote-for-vote, so only 1 Aidan voter can make a difference to the score. If the votes are already, say, 642000 for Aidan and 358000 for Jay (not an unreasonable assumpion based on Lola's figures for yesterday), then it will take 90 votes cast by that 1 Aidan voter to make a difference of 0.01%. That voter (God damn him!) will be on his fourth voting round of "25 votes, pause for 1 minute" before the change occurs, if everything else remains the same. Four voting rounds will take approximately 15 minutes, so in this very hypothetical case nothing changes for 15 minutes. Sorry, I've gone all science nerdy , but I can see why the vote doesn't keep changing once a large number of votes have already been cast and there are lots of voters on each side. ![]() Hope I've been able to explain it a bit better this time. Off for some more voting. #TeamJalionaRideOrDie Aaaaaaarghh! Maths! Cruel, cruel Deise. Now we're definitely in black hole territory. I have no idea, but you're probably right. Even though my instincts tell me that there's a bit of skulduggery going on. Can't help it. Right brained. No hope. None. |

They won't do anything. The whole thing has been a huge con to get clicks on their website and advertising revenue. They want Poldark to win as its a BBC programme and is starting again soon.
Me, I preferred the original Poldark. I hate it when they remake a classic. If it ain't broke, don't fix it........take note Ghostbusters, Porridge, Total Recall et all I will flounce big time if they ever remake Dirty Dancing, PrettyWoman, Ghost..... BBC hasn't owned the Radio Times since 2011 ![]() I loved the old Poldark too jnb, and loved the books even more. ![]() DD thanks for the explanation - I understood it ![]() Isih, Alan Rickman in Galaxy Quest was brilliant! So funny in such a dry way ![]() BTW it's been really hot in beautiful downtown Burbank for days and days. LA has been having a terrific heatwave |

Lola, Whiffle - I have taken liberties with your ideas - are you happy for this to go into the jobs list?
MISS LOLA'S SCHOOL OF DANCE AND FACIAL EXPRESSION - WORK IN PROGRESS Lola the cat <<I have had some thoughts about Miss Lola's School of Dance and I will post later about entry requirements and details of the syllabus we will follow. I will be looking for other "dance and facial expression" teachers to assist me in our school, it is a collective school now. I'm all for inclusivity. A certain James McG has agreed to become patron and attend lessons as he obviously needs a little help in the "facial expressions" part of his performance, I'm sure between us we can turn him into a performer that even Miss Karen will be proud of>> Lesson 1 Whiffle_09 <<Now, for some reason I have been unable to get Miss Karen out of my head>> Here are the examination papers in preparation for the new season APPOINTED: Lola the cat, Whiffle_09 |

Just had another quick look at the results and they don't appear to have budged in either case. Lots of people on both sides complaining in the comments section. Maybe there have been so many votes it's tipped the whole thing over?

And on another note......have just booked an extra ticket for Keep Dancing on 7 Sept (which is a Wednesday matinee). Dear OH has agreed to come with me as I'm still not confident about travelling at the moment....not long now, I hope!
Anyway....the point is, it seems to me that ticket sales are picking up a bit. Could be because MK just released their summer / autumn brochure. I guess not everyone hangs on J's every move as we do.....

Keep Dancing?
People in a Show All lined in a row.... They had a lot of applicants for the show. https://twitter.com/Robinwindsor/sta...12212072927232 They now have Anya Garnis on board, which is a big plus. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CnlrWrcWEAENO3E.jpg Chelsee Healey - only doing one date on KD, but she is higher profile now having joined Hollyoaks for a stint. http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2016-...-cousin-goldie Louis Smith - might be a gold medallist at the Olympics, before the Show - fingers crossed. ![]() https://www.instagram.com/p/BHMzBAGD...mith1989&hl=en Show start is now less than 5 weeks away. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CgUKrcjVIAAtVRi.jpg |

I hadn't seen the first picture with so many dancers at the auditions, so thank you, but this poster strikes me as being a bit odd- it's Robin's show, and yet he is squashed in at the bottom right as 'Special Guest star"?

Just tried again. Figures stayed the same on both while I voted. I stopped as soon as J's moved up one, then waited for 5 mins during which time nothing moved on either. On my first vote for J it dropped back two. I stopped and - guess what - nothing moved!
So whatever it is seems set to respond negatively to J votes as soon as his total moves up. Nice one, cheats, whoever you are... I didn't bother replying 😊 Jay won his section👍 & beat Comedy👍 and won the ones that mattered SCD 2015 ✨🏆✨and SCD Tour 2016 😄🎉 |

Seriously, I think I'm the kiss of death on the RT poll, every time I have a voting session I manage to make the percentage go down 😥
It's all my fault said Eeyore |

http://keepdancingshow.com/creatives/index.php It's not clear what the format is. I seems to be a dance based show with a highlight section for a guest Star or Stars. I think they need to have a clear idea of what the Show is and why people should buy tickets. The Strictly connection is a good start. I think Anya can up the quality of the choreography and dancing, and at least they have been training for a couple of weeks now. Given the Strictly link, they should be gearing the rest of the show towards that type of audience, and with Robin and Anya involved, they should be able to do that. |

No its not you Lola. From 3.00 when the poll opened then during last night I went cross eyed right up till about 3.30 this morning trying to get that damn thing to increase.

Yes, there might have been humans who don't sleep voting for Mr P, but nothing will convince me there wasn't manipulation going on too.
