Two separate bits to post:

1. Miss Lola's Dance School - it's just an idea, you can do as much or little as you want, it was just something vaguely fun and ridiculous to do whilst twidling our thumbs until KD starts etc. You do all like to do a dance review, it's just a variation on a theme.

2. Son, who did Comp Sci degree, and had written these sort of programs, looked at poll and his observations are, the 4% drops sound extremely unlikely to be real votes and yes probably bots not real people were involved, and from a number of votes perspective he said "no way has AT got that many more votes than J, you never see AT trend on twitter or discussed on any other social platform he visits (and there a lot) but you still see TW trending and discussed". The other final was "yeah don't watch The 100 but it was really controversial when her character was killed off and show has massive following, the youtubers - never heard of them!".

I think if the vote count had been there all the way through, I would have been galvanised into being more persistent with my voting. As it was, a couple of times I had a little flounce off when the % kept on going down despite my efforts. Especially when it got to almost 42% on Friday evening then rapidly dropped.

Edit: Now on over 164k, which is a 7k rise in just over an hour. I rest my case, M'Lud.

ETA: Agree Red, wouldn't have been so demoralising if we could have set ourselves number targets. The persistent decline from 42% on Friday happened when most Jay voters went to bed.

In my minute break I have been reading a thread on the MT about participants who have benefited from Strictly - it's hysterical, there is one particular poster who, well just seems to dislike everyone except her favourite, tosses hair (that's a hint if you haven't read it). Should I point out that sales at local theatre for BAT when her darling is appearing, apart from the Wed matinee when the coach trips of OAPs are deposited there for the afternoon are not exactly setting the world alight, in fact pretty abysmal at the moment. But probably not worth it, she would only come up with some excuse.

At the current rate of voting it seems to take just over 2 rounds of voting to increase by 1000 votes. Allowing 15 mins per 1000 increase that leaves a potential 39,000 votes but can we keep this rate up until the poll closes??????

Allowing for realistic voting (50% of current rate as an average over the remaining time) that would be 19500 votes taking the total to 186500 so round up to 190000. (200k would be a nice figure but is it achievable)
