The Final Part Trois. (Yeah, yeah, I know, I didn’t do Part Duh ...)
Sorry – starting a bit early, with the announcement of the final three ..... We go to the four couples and there they stand, Jay and Aliona, downcast, clearly fearing the worst. Jay is rocking his best Phwoar Thud look – the curls clearly won the fisticuffs with Strictly’s full-on hairdresser rock style. Aliona’s back in great aunt Agatha’s old tablecloth and the bacofoil boob shield. At least the yellow knickers (War Drobe’s last revenge) have gone. Back to the fab four (Help! We need somebody. Help! Not just anybody ... yada yada yada ...) And it’s off with Anton’s head .. ah, no, just off with his glitter ball ... Dear Jay and Aliona – they were so lovely to Anton and Katie Off to the Final Countdown, doodle ooodle oo, oo-oo oo-oo (any key ...) Great red lighting – just needed a cloven-footed Devil Borewood prancing on stage left in a red lycra catsuit, waving his trident and wearing a pair of horns. The mood Jay was in, he’d have kicked the prat where it hurt and carried on. Ooh, yes, they’re really, really going for it. Oozing machismo, wondrous shaping, grinning all over the shop (up yours, fudgery judgery). It all ends with Jay joyfully swinging Ali round, pointing to the heavens in one last, magnificent, cheesy, rock and roll salute, before that final, wonderful, pose. Just one complaint - fancy missing this opportunity to flip the bird at you-know-who ......http://imgur.com/pAz0ye4 Fast forward through the other dances ..... and so to the final three. The Jaliona corner looks resigned, the other two have hope in their hearts. And, oh my gawd, they’ve won! Jay and Aliona are shocked – hysterical laughter going on behind the hands – or maybe it’s just an “Oh sh**, we shouldn’t have knocked back that crate of prosecco before we came back on”. The other two couples look a bit, er, pee’d orf - thank the fudges, dahlings – they were the ones who strung you along. Oops – someone trained the camera on the Clifton coven. Keep sucking on that lemon, Joanne. Lovely Jay. “Spaced out”. Somehow his couple of sentences, his thanks to everyone for liking them, says so much more than any amount of gushing. Tess and Claud are clearly over the moon, Darcey in tears (stick to your guns in future, Darce – it doesn’t matter what the t**ts sat next to you say.) Most people seem more than pleased for Jay – a measure of the man, methinks. And so, at the end of it all, there is just time to reflect . Who expected that shaggy, shambling caveman, so overawed and uncertain, to turn out to be the most graceful, elegant, precise and musical male dancer we had ever seen on Strictly? Who expected a member of a boyband renowned for drinking, partying and playing the a*se to turn out to be such a humble, witty, polite, engaging and sweet-natured guy? Who expected to be utterly mesmerised by the way in which this slightly gauche young man utterly transformed when the dance floor beckoned and the band began to play? I didn’t. All I can do is thank Jay and Aliona for bringing a bit of magic into my life - and for doing it with a beauty that comes only from the soul. What a totally splendiferous way to celebrate the shiny new part 6 |

Nice one Korks, fits exactly into the space on page 17 — 9000 odd words now and counting
![]() My "Stricter Strictly" seems to be getting out of hand, think I'll have to wield the pruning shears and trim it back a bit. I'll be away for the weekend and incommunicado (our bank holiday is next Monday), so I'll post the 4th edition of the poetry collection on Thursday evening. ![]() What is Stricter Strictly? ![]()

DD - I feel sure the unexpurgated version of the ode will be wondrous! No pruning needed ... |

Oops. I really meant to spend the wee hours of the morning looking at the final paso compared to the green paso and look for various comparisons.
However I fell asleep----- again. So homework will not be early ( well early for me) and I now have to find time to do something. I'll go spend sometime in the corner. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com...4fe244980b.jpg |

Thanks everyone
BTW Robin Windsor/Keep Dancing has tweeted that more KD dates in 2017. Hasn't said who with though. Night Night - early start tomorrow ![]() Anyway, just thought I’d mention my son’s girlfriend didn’t know about Jay being in Keep Dancing so, of course, I told her. She emailed yesterday to say she’s organised a group of 18 friends, family and colleagues and they’re going to Wimbledon. That’s before Edinburgh so I’ll hear all about it. Makes it more exciting. ![]() Hope all of you are keeping ok. The sunshine makes such a difference doesn’t it. Night night. x |

Evening/morning all. Haven’t caught up as I’ve not been on the Mac much in the past few weeks. Good news though - had my second cataract op and it’s been much more successful so far, so now I can see really well, although have to wait a few more weeks to get proper reading glasses. Still seems strange to be longsighted instead of shortsighted.

I hope I get to meet you when there as I think going on same night (on the recent list kindly provided by Nelliek) Take care 🌸 |

Good morning everyone,
Hope you all had a lovely bank holiday. Ours is well and truly over judging by the torrential rain outside this morning! Sorry I've not said much over the last couple of days. I've managed to keep up with you all but haven't had much time to do anything else. I'm feeling immensely frustrated as I've not had sufficient 'me' time to finish part 1 of my final homework. It usually acts as a fantastic stress relief - but they won't leave me alone!😡 Cat09 - as always a fabulous, witty and perceptive review. Korky[b]Rafferty et al[b], lovely ditties! Sorry if I've not mentioned you by name. My memories not what it was! Thanks also for all pics, gifs and vids etc. Hope to catch up with you all later. X |
