Mr Spock has just received an urgent newsflash from The Federation, Big Bad James McG is not a fugitive, he has been pardoned. He is a free man and allowed to roam free across planet Earth. We have made contact and he has promised to appear in front of the Fudges to perform his Holy Jive as a thank you for his pardon.

We are changing course and heading to Andromeda where we have reports that the evil warlord Borewood is preparing to invade planet Earth again. Mr Sulu change course and prepare for warp speed.

Message from Admiral Christopher Pike. If Mr Mcg is spotted the Federation will certainly allow the Enterprise to give him a lift where required.

First away mission by Mr Spock to request Mr Mcg join him on the Enterprise.

That drawing of the Enterprise crew is so sad! All of those pictured have passed away.

I've just sat down to read pomes
Written in various homes
Some I've missed for some reason
including the season
and clearing the driveway of stones

It's so nice to have them together
to be read at ease and at leisure
What a talented crowd
I say clearly out loud
With thanks to our boy for the pleasure

And thanks to our wonderful editor, too

Morning everyone. Lovely and sunny but a bit cool here today.

Just went over to have a little look at the poll - my goodness, there have been some busy people overnight!

All the Jaypery's great fun too
And that's largely down to you
So take a bow
Because I don't know how
You manage to do what you do!

Keep Dancing has tweeted a video message about the show from Lisa Riley. Sorry, I'm not sure how to copy it over here.

It also says "more to follow from our guests soon". This makes me hope and think that J and A will record a message when they start rehearsing too.

The voting is interesting at the moment.
https://strictlysupportgroup.wordpre...-%f0%9f%8f%b9/

Lead keeps swinging between the jive and the tango with the AT not that far behind.
How many Jalionistas will be disappointed if the jive comes only second or third in the poll?

As I'm voting for all 3 every time I vote then not so much

It has to be the jive, surely?
OH's birthday today and I'd bought him some key rings and a mug with a photos of all three of us - him, Becks and me- on it. And a bracelet made from Becks tail hair like mine but with plain charms on it. With a weird sort of irony, today was the day when the vet surgery rang to say Becks ashes were ready to collect.
I was ok. And I had planned several special places to us all, to scatter some of them.
But when we collected them (it's a BIG box), seeing his Shoes neatly packed on top of the mahogany box, made me feel not ready, and very upset.
I don't feel ready to draw a line, the insurance claim still isn't settled and I have a big (£2500) bill to pay if they don't pay up. I have the money but it's upsetting and once it's sorted either way I think I will feel more ready to scatter some ashes and try to move on.

Weird - haven't logged on for weeks, switched in telly and got Olympic horses. Immediately thought of Becks and logged on to find most recent post is this. Synchronicity. You'll know when the time comes, try to think of him in tranquillity for the moment. Easier said than done I know. Thinking of you.

Hmm, I nominated the AT because I immediately thought of the tenuous link to archery, with his AT feet being like "laser guided missiles" according to Bruno. I will be a bit surprised more than disappointed if the jive doesn't win. It feels as though that dance defined the whole 2015 series more than any other. Still, if it doesn't win there are plenty of other categories it can be submitted for!

If it doesn't win something there's something seriously wrong with the world and peoples outlook lol by the way I hate the fact that Jay and will bleeding young that's the only name I've been reading for the past month are being compared., apparently Jay went to acting school as well as dance school therefore he didn't need much training to get those perfect routines down! What a load of BS just because he went to "Dance school" doesnt make it okay for one to take away the time and effort and teaching style from the pro, now that will young is in the mix apparently he went to ballet school but then again that doesn't count for anything because he will be paired with a certain Clifton, it would be lovely if a new pro dancer were to get him but the strictly producers have already made their minds up lol I'll be mega surprised if Joanne doesn't get will when checking later (out of curiosity of course lol)

I add my congratulations, too, Rosa

I didn't realise it was ICD - no wonder our little horror was so snotty with us yesterday. Love the 'lost' pic, Korky

I'm pleased you had a good Irish weekend, people of the female persuasion, and had all left your weapons at home.

StrictlyRed and jnb - consolatory hugs to you both, and anyone else with sad reminders

Gill P - I'll toss you for Will Young. ANYONE can have Ed Balls. I am open minded enough to hope he turns out fun, however, even though he is a politician

Lola and hannah So glad the Enterprise can accommodate Big Daddy Jay Dog without having to disguise him as a Ferengi again

Is that everything? Probably not. Apologies, thanks and congratulations where appropriate, as usual

Think the solitary vote for KK was the result of a finger spasm. Nearly had one myself while aiming for J's box (so to speak).

The Jayodes are always apposite
We write it by day and by night
Gathering writers on the way
And making swift headway
For the ninth anthology is in sight

Yes, it's great to see how our Muse
Has given us a way to enthuse
In a wonderfully creative medium
And deflect the endless tedium
Of the long, long wait for news!

'Tis true that our Muse is elusive
But he's certainly not reclusive
He stays under the radar
But that's not bizarre
For people can be so intrusive
