So very sad, isn't it? She was just trying to keep the thread light and fluffy as normal and people crashed it, bringing in their own agendas and completely changing the nature of the thread.
Newsflash "3 of the worst dancers were the first 3 booted off the show". Suddenly, that's controversial because people choose to focus on their skin colour and forget about the dancing (and with Naga, the added factor that she clearly was having no fun at all). ETA: I notice this year's ATs aren't gaining much traction. Maybe everyone's just on twitter or too busy bitching in MF to actually get behind any particular contender. I don't think there's any thread pet on the NAT either, although I saw it being debated pre-season. Think everyone is too busy going to Jay shows, TT

The only AT going anywhere is Laura and Giovanni, which I haven't visited but I assume is largely due to carryover from GG. I think the people being debated as thread pet on the NAT have proved to be less likeable than anticipated.

Agree with you on all counts! Seems to me that with this year's show, there's more dance ability but less likeability.

I'm sure Hannah will have him tucked up in bed nice and early with some of her special medicine to ensure he is fit and well for his first performance. No funky llamas for him until he is better.
Korky can have the undercrackers as per her looooong looooong list of jobs. I can then check for the fleckerls. If I can get past Lola |

Link above to Radio Devon on i player. Go to David Fitzgerald programme about two thirds through, 2.09.20. Hope that works. Listening to it as I type and jay is being his usual sweet guy with even nice comments about the fudges last year. What a sensible young man. Lovely interviewee as ever Seems he's really enjoying rehersals though he does sounds a bit rough bless him 💕 Thanks to for the poems Korky ETA The Jives YT view have gone up more than 53k since Saturday evening ![]()

Monkseal's Week 4 ITT blog starts here
https://monkseal.wordpress.com/2016/...es-two-week-4/ ETA: Apparently, there wasn't merely slavish adoration of Ore on Koreography Korner (run by the 2 spare pros) this week. Must watch! ETA2: Wonder if they covered Ed's dance! ETA3: Just watching ITT and it's the happiest I've seen Naga and Pasha all season! |

Thank you very much for the link to the radio interview. Isn't he a darling? No surprise there. But hearing him be so cheerful about the show this time afterwards made me feel less cross about Saturday. I think Len's comment made me furious because it brought up all my negative feelings about the judges in last year's final. But Jay clearly remembers the show fondly and has no angst, so I must get over being so defensive for him! He never felt like he was competitive on the show. Lovely man!!

Funky Llama is a lovely inclusive project, partially lottery funded, supporting performing and creative arts for differently abled adults. (They use this term rather than "disabled")

![]() Yes, he most definitely is - his comments about the judges and so on did rather put it in perspective

![]() Regarding the results show. I did think the PLB shot themselves in the foot a bit last night, when on Len's Lens they waxed lyrical about Ore's fantastic footwork in the jive and proceeded to show his feet in slow mo and in his kicks and flicks, his feet were pointing up and very floppy. Totally wrong, just proving what we already know, it didn't deserve 10's. Len's Lens last year with Jay's jive proved the exact opposite. It showed just how perfect Jay's feet were, locked out and the kicks and flicks really sharp. Hoisted by their own petard

I guess this is something J would love to support if he is well.
