That's how I feel too👍
Regarding the results show. I did think the PLB shot themselves in the foot a bit last night, when on Len's Lens they waxed lyrical about Ore's fantastic footwork in the jive and proceeded to show his feet in slow mo and in his kicks and flicks, his feet were pointing up and very floppy. Totally wrong, just proving what we already know, it didn't deserve 10's. Len's Lens last year with Jay's jive proved the exact opposite. It showed just how perfect Jay's feet were, locked out and the kicks and flicks really sharp. Hoisted by their own petard
Reminded me of Len's Lens last year with Pondres jive - Darcy waxing lyrical about the synchronicity with the VT showing him to be lagging behind Janette

Is anyone from this thread going to any show this Season?
Really difficult to get tickets.

My son said he tried for tickets for the first few weeks and there had been 5 million applicants.

Just to say as well, new grandson born yesterday. 👏🍾 My busy month just might be getting busier😄

Having watched it now, I think it was brilliant - both of them actually were good in different ways. Chloe for pointing out what we've been saying, which is that Ore's kicks and flicks (will someone explain to me what is meant by a flick as opposed to a kick?) could have been better, and we've all seen it done better.

And Neil finally explaining what is meant by 'leading'. To those who haven't danced, they assume it's the hands, but it's not, it's the body.

ETA danceagogo - wonderful news! Many congratulations.

Hey all updated the Stats thread with Ore's 48 hour views:

ORE: 168k
RINDER: 186k

And to remind you Jay's 42 hour figure was 394k
So yeah I think that's the answer from the GBP on best Jive ever.

Ore will hit top 10 though most definitely (and deservedly imo) but better than our Jay? Naaaah!

Oh, so do I!

It all just goes to show how the fudges are manipulative falsifiers.

How I wish we could have a totally honest programme.

I'm sure Hannah will have him tucked up in bed nice and early with some of her special medicine to ensure he is fit and well for his first performance. No funky llamas for him until he is better.
I'm sorry, I have no excuse other than I'm watching X files at the same time, but I misread that last sentence to a shocking degree

That's how I feel too👍

Yes indeed, like last year as Whiffle said

I thought initially 'oh here we go' and then the sensible comments came in, quite hopeful, I think.

I liked Ore's jive (and I don't find him as arrogant as some people do), but no contest!

The interview was good (thought the interviewer was a bit condescending, though), and ivo Jay's comments about what not to take seriously I am working harder on my comparison mantra

Just to add, the requests for new jobs (jaynav etc) have been taken on board but possibly not to be processed for a bit - off to the UK to play with my grandchildren for a couple of weeks (excited excited) . Meantime, I doubt Jay will make it to the Funky Llama (which sounds like a brilliant project) through the firewall of hannah, Lola, Whiffle, CatO and anyone else counting frecklers or feckles or whatever

Just listened to the interview, having finally got off a train.
Lovely to hear Jay. He does sound like he is enjoying himself. Hope they are helping him to look after his voice though. I am so tempted to try to get to Plymouth....

Me too. With Karen, we would just have had slavish agreement with the judges.

Can we start a campaign for "anyone but Karen" for choreography corner? Even Karen's demo the other day wasn't very good. Jo kicked it out of the park last year, Chloe was brilliant today and Neil reasonably good.

Before you go to have fun, if we don't have a Jayjob of Chauffeuse may I apply? He would arrive punctually at the correct destination and I could make him very comfortable reclining on the back seat...

Oh, Korky. I'm so sorry - you can't possibly chauffeuse and keep him comfortable at the same time (you'll get nicked ..). You just carry on driving and let me do the rest ...

I will attempt to re-phrase...

I will ensure that he has a very pleasant ride stretched out on the well-sprung back seat.

I knew that Jay and Aliona's 24 hour figure was 140k, so it really snowballed after that, didn't it? Viewings have accelerated this weekend, too.

Indeed!

Lawd - just saw the group dance on You Tube. They really shouldn't put Anton front and centre like that in a non-ballroom dance, as it shows him being effortlessly out-danced by every other male pro behind him.

I absolutely howled at your misreading of the llamas. What are you like😂😂
Have fun with your family and yes his freckles and fleckerls are safe with us. Mwahaha 👿

And the train now leaving for Plymouth is being driven by....JAYFAN😜

Chloe sounds like a good choice for future choreo corners

And then at least we'd have a better abbreviation - Chloe's choreography corner would be CCC.
