That's an incredibly commercial production, very slick and very marketable. I really like it even though I'm nowhere near the target market. I don't know where the producer stands on copyright grounds, and I love the original, but this version really has the balance right between Jay's sweet voice and the rapper's rasp.

Go for it, Jay!
I have to admit I prefer this version. Shytown have tweeted it too so I'm assuming it's been approved by them. A Student radio station is broadcasting an interview with Shytown tonight at 11pm btw.

Thank you, everyone for the lovely good wishes. Am getting lots of lovely cuddles, and some pooy nappies from the littlest one and big hugs and kisses from the 3 year old. Trouble is the OH and the dog are getting jealous

Me too. I'm glad Shytown seem happy - it's so much more commercial than the original. I wonder if anyone will be able to pick up the programme.

You too Danceagogo! Congratulations, and I hope things are OK now.

Hello, everyone! I'm back

Thank you to all the lovely people who messaged me during this hiatus. It meant a lot <3

I don't think I'll be able to catch up with everything because I think I've missed like a thousand pages or something, but I'll try my best to catch up with everything from now on

Hope you all are doing great

I've just messaged Kate at Smoke Radio to find out if there is a way to listen after the show. It's way past my bedtime!

Welcome back Rosa. Glad to hear things are better for you. X

ETA: They'll be posting a link to the interview tomorrow. I'll keep an eye out for it.

Ahouch Fingers crossed we can all catch up with the interview-don't think my OH would appreciate me listening to a student radio station at 11pm! 😂
Congratulations to Dfer and Danceagogo on the birth of their grandchildren-hope you are enjoying cuddles and any problems are resolving.
Welcome back Rosa
I like the second version of the Shytown song too-sounds more like the finished article and definitely gets me dancing ( albeit very badly😳&#128514 around the kitchen!

Thank you!! I haven't heard the second version yet. Shytown messaged it to Valentina and I to help with the promo pics again but I've been quite busy Will listen to it today.

Well that worked well, didn't it?

Turning up in the wrong place indeed!
Well, all will be well when he has his own private chauffeuse. I'm thinking blacked-out windows... 🤔

It's an interview with Shytown on a student radio station (University of Westminster I think) tonight. They'll be talking about the single and working with Jay. Think it could be worth a listen. I'll post it on here as soon as I see it.

And then at least we'd have a better abbreviation - Chloe's choreography corner would be CCC.
But that puts me in mind of a County Cricket Club for some reason.
Or Cha Cha Cha????

As long as more people get to know the song, it's great. Not much of a fan of Shytown because of recent events, but it's great that more people get to know Jay's voice

Thanks for the links Ahouch and Strictly Red.
Congrats Dfer on the arrival of your grandchild. 🍾👏🍾

Korky/Hannah/ anyone else looking after Jay- surprised you let him out to the pub last night and did not keep him inside in the warm, resting his voice!

I wonder if and when Jay will get his hair cut for Big?
We had to let a small amount of merriment occur. Plus one element of my secret recipe can be found in a pub doncha know.
Korky did a brilliant Chauffeuse job. And we needed as much warmth as poss, so two.attendees were required😜😎

I can quite categorically state that dancing with Anton IS NOT what Lola wants, stomps off to gaze at pictures of J mumbling to herself "yeah whatevs Anton"

Erm - careful with the chauffeuse bit (although you may well know what you're saying) I am informed that there is no feminine to chauffeur as driver, as the word implies a heated sense, if I may so express it Which is of course exactly what you mean

rosa - welcome back, you sound so cheerful, it's good to hear BUT

like everyone else - recent events?

And what has Lola been up to now, may I ask?

Monkseal's full blog now up https://monkseal.wordpress.com/2016/...4-performance/

Choreography corner interesting on ITT today. Have now decided I can't stand Neil. What an ****. Interestingly, Chloe thought Laura's top line was great. And finally pointing out that Judge should not be written off by the show as the comedy contestant but given a chance.
