I completely understand her frustration, though, but it sucks that she found out about it just now (it's been blocked for me since the episode aired), because some people might think she's "jealous" of Len's comments towards Ore and Joanne

I don't think it comes over as jealous re Lens comment. Just statement of fact that she is in the US and can't get the jive on YT and why should that be.
The people you mention who might think she is miffed are probably the self same folk who didn't "get" Jaliona during last year's SCD.
I seem to remember her retweeting when she was told it hit 1 million and again when it hit 2 million saying how fantastic that was and thanks to everyone .

I don't think she's necessarily reached the jordans level of bitterness I think she's just voicing her opinion if I were her I would do the exact same thing, yes she knows herself and Jay won last year and rightly so, but I think she's annoyed at the fact there was obstacle after obstacle to sabotage the final. I think she's bottled it up for a long time about what she thinks about strictly she would have quit a long time ago I guess she kept going because of her fans and how much they love her beauty, dance and just the overall chemistry she's able to create. I guess the Ore fiasco was just that final push..

She is indeed! A year of pent up frustration perhaps? Now Jaliona have danced their winner's dance presumably she has no further obligation to Strictly and is free to say what she wants.

I'm sure she has. She did the show for years. She definitely knows which tricks the show might have played all the seasons she was a part of. So sad that they did this to her. She's better off without SCD now, for the looks of it!

I think she's only just realized it was geo-blocked as she's in the States. After all, we would have had no idea except for overseas people on the Forum talking about it. There's no indication to a UK viewer that it can't be seen elsewhere.

My, Aliona is really angry, isn't she! Quite justifiably in my opinion and most of us concur. Yes, I noticed that they were going to put Jo in a black wig but altered it at the last minute (as a step too far/too obvious?) although they kept the black and white theme of their clothes. I wonder what A made of Jo's constant knicker-flashing... to distract from O's unpointed feet? Pleased she noticed that Jo pinched some of her choreography, but not pleased that it happened.

I don't think she has just suddenly worked out that SCD didn't want them to win and that the dancers are 'toys' to manoeuvre to fit their story lines.
She has obviously known that for bit but hasn't talked about it. I think the jive story on Saturday combined with just finding out about the blocked Jaliona jive have irritated her enough to come out and say it now.

I am never sure why telling the truth is interpreted as bitterness myself.

Do those people accusing her of bitterness think she is wrong ? Do they really think that SCD is just a dance competition and not a reality TV show?

This is just the beginning. That's not bitterness at all - it's enormous and justified anger at the injustice meted out last year. Strictly's got a lot to answer for and they deserve everything they get.

It's different from the Jordans' griping and whining - Aliona's rage is in a different class, absolutely justified and potentially far more dangerous to the image of Evil Moira in a Rainbow Wig, Len, Borewood and all the others. Gawd knows what machinations were going on behind the scenes, and which I suspect she kept from J.

No doubt the Beeb scriptwriters are busy rewriting history as we speak.

I'm sure they can't have been blind to the KK bias, but perhaps attributed it to judges rather than BBC? She was probably a bit irritated about the praise heaped on Ore's jive, but kept silent. But finding out about the jive block seems to be the straw that broke the camel's back and has caused her to lose her cool a bit! She needs to chill.

SCD needs to be more fair and objective if nothibg else at least for the obvious. If I want to watch some weird plot I will go elswere.

No, it's not all new to her, no she's not bitter, and no she shouldn't "chill" as bottling up anger is detrimental to health - and the 'paying public' have a right to know about the contrived shenanigans. SCD is not a fluffy innocuous programme. It is a manipulated, unfair, unwholesome one, now far removed from Series 1. It plays with people's feelings. As I said, she is justifiably angry.

I agree that the blocked jive probably was the final straw and as I said, I think there probably is a genuine reason for that. But she obviously wants to get things off her chest.
Absolutely fine for her to do that imo.
She has a great husband, family and friends and is moving into a new exciting phase of her life, so I am sure she will easily and happily move on from this.

ETA The judges are also just 'toys' to be manoeuvred like the dancers. It is not them steering the show. It is the production team.

I think a lot of other people will reach the same conclusion which is very sad as SCD is/was very loved and there are so few dance shows on TV.

We all love it and we care I hope it becomes better.

I doubt it, TBH. We on the forums are a tiny proportion of the viewership (which is, after all, 10-12 million). It wouldn't occur to most of the public (which is probably what annoys us so much).

What's new is Kevin adding his opinion about Ore's Jive, which Aliona doesn't agree with. That seems fair enough, but its not practical to get involved and it will be portrayed in a negative way.

She also doesn't seem to like the manipulation of the show, where they try to stage manage how it plays out, but the Show is successful by doing it and its not a moral issue. The bottom line is numbers of viewers.
