OT, but remember when the VTs were like this?

You got invested in the people as you saw them on their journey (sorry!) and how difficult it all was.
ETA1: And I don't think Ore's fake either (or at least, not on the night), he just gets over-emotional. I think he does need to rein it in, though. We wouldn't be very sympathetic if it was a woman (or at least, not if she did it more than once). Other than that, he is just not very interesting at the moment. I wonder if Ore/Jo might be one of those pairings where they bring out the worst in each other?
ETA2: And I'm still waiting for one of those partnerships to go 'click'. It's one of the reasons we all loved Jaliona so much last year. It wasn't just Jay and it wasn't just Aliona. It was the pair of them. It's no coincidence that people were already speculating about their relationship after the waltz - it was because they had so much dancefloor chemistry, and some people can't distinguish between that and real-life romantic chemistry.
We've had it before - Zoe and Ian, Aliona and Matt, Kara and Artem, Matt and Flavia, and many more. Not always the best couples, but always the most entertaining to watch. This is partner dancing.
Both the top 2 couples this year are very glamorous, but so far, dancing very separately (do I need to add the caveat IMO every now and again?) If couples don't click at first, how likely is it that they will do so later? Are there people who have better memories than me?
ETA3: Perhaps that's why I liked Louise for the first time last night. I felt that she and Kevin were genuinely dancing together. I know others didn't feel the same, but i saw glimmers for the first time. And I like the relationship between Daisy and Aljaz, although didn't really see it on the floor as much last night.
