I didn't say it doesn't work. (As is the case with many old-wives remedies, it does.) Just that it sounds horrible. Just like the salt water gargles. Which I think I tried once. Which was once too often for my liking!!!

Edited one bit successfully but was about a minute to late to add -
Apologies if it sounds as if hannah is an old wife. Didn't mean to imply that at all!!
Sorry.

Possibly his funniest line ever

"IT’S SPOOKY DRESS UP WEEK! I know that a lot of time and effort goes into the outfits for the mainshow, but I would have given a large amount of money to have Cloudia do her American Smooth just with a bedsheet thrown over her head running around the floor giggling. If they’d used one of AJ’s bedsheets it probably would have been stiff enough to retain shape as well…"

Thanks for the link. A great read as always, enjoyed over an extended breakfast.

I liked it too, especially as you could see it meant so much to them. Although not at the same skill levels as Jay and Aliona last year, I could see their connection to the dance and each other, which is why I think I got a similar vibe. Sir Matthew Bourne tweeted about it, too.

Isn't it about time another male contestant left, though? We haven't had one go since Melvin in the first elimination and we're on week seven now. ( I don't count Will because he left of his own accord.)

Asbolicus thanks you for your concern, and wishes it to be known that he concurs with your views on the appallingly inconsiderate accusations levelled against him by person or persons unmentionable.

But they won't win. Ohhhh no. I have a 'can't win' claws in their Contract...

Had a look at the J and Diana interview - thanks to Deise Days . A great working relationship.
J does seem to be very taken with musical theatre

Thanks for telling us CatO9Tales

If you put J's name into Google, under the Tweets, one of DD's tweets appears as the 2nd one - and J has commented on it - brilliant

Korky love the name Asbo

And thanks as always to nelliek for the list keeping.
I still have to restrain myself from reading your name as 'nellie eek' - am sure it's a compliment.

ETA looks like you'll get your wish to see Big in the West End Drizzle

Have wondered from a while back if musical theatre would maybe suit J's plans - not just his training, but being able to sing a lot, dance quite a bit, work in an ensemble and also to be able to perform without being too much in the public eye.

Remember we all had quite a long discussion about it way back in January? Christmas? end of Strictly Tour?

Thankyou Deise what a lovely interview with j and Diana.
So pleased to hear he wants to stay in the musical world, he seems very happy, and hopefully found his niche. Think the musical will be a sure fire hit , trying to sort out the logistics to go to the BGE ,but may have to settle for The WE. The future looks very bright for him now, like someone said he has the world at his pointed feet.

Glad he's ditched that awful twitter pic at long last!

Love the interview - thank you Deise. Accent sounds pretty good, and Diana's right - it's so easy to mistake Irish for East Coast American - the worst time was with a friend's new love interest, whom I thought came from New York. Turns out he was from Galway City! But he always sounded American to me until he talked about 'fillums'. Then I knew.

Yes, I have a feeling it'll be a huge hit too. Loved it when Diana said he's a natural - indeed he is.

Yes, I noticed when I got home a little while ago that there were new tweets, follows and profile picture!

Very purrceptive, you say? Why, thank you, Asbolicus.
Purrhaps I could come to purrform duties in your home? Oh, I don't know about that. I'm already purrsonal assistant to a purrfect master. I'd have to ask his purrmission, first. I'll let you know...........
.........I've spoken to my master, and he told me that I already have a purrmanent purrsition, and enjoy many purrks. He couldn't possibly purrmit me to work for anyone else. He's purrplexed and purrturbed that I would even suggest such a thing. And no, he won't be purrsuaded. Furthermore, if I purrsist with this purrverse idea: he'll have to withdraw privileges. Purrseverance is futile.
I'm afraid, Asbolicus, I'll have to decline your very kind offer. It seems to me, that you already have delightful, and patient purrsonalities, in your existing staff. You're a very lucky boy.

But you're right. I am an old wife with tales aplenty 😂😂😂
Usually to do with strange medicine that will definitely make you better but will definitely taste vile. My little divil coming out. Mwahaha 👿

You may say so, but I couldn't possibly comment. They like to think they're purrfect, but I wouldn't want them getting the uppurr paw....

The staff did chuckle at your post. But they're back to scratch repair duty now....

Oh, yes, I remember that. I said I thought he'd get bored doing the same thing every night for weeks on end. Ha ha! My only excuse is that it was before BIG came up ...

Stain your soul from white to black
Play the part in life you lack
As the ghoulish hours go by
The mask becomes your alibi
But unlike others who hide their sin
Underneath their painted skin
You can erase your dark disguise
To let the love shine from your eyes

The link of Jay and cast bowling didn't work for me I'm afraid. Are they on the green on Plymouth Hoe where Sir Francis Drake was supposed to have carried on playing as the Spanish Armada sailed up the English Channel?
