A pre strictly fave of mine was Jay dancing on a beach to Shut up and Dance. I know it was taken down off YT (someone has it here I believe)

Now Cloudia and AJ have got to try to dance a paso to it. Come on AJ bring some great choreo out of the bag.

Just noticed that this week Claudia and AJ will be dancing the Paso Doble to ‘Shut Up And Dance’ by Walk The Moon. I have a sneaky feeling that, no matter how well they dance it, there will be a few people saying "this one is better".

SCD chat in the office - why was Ore given such a high mark for such a badly danced dreadful routine? Lot of sympathy for Greg but every one agreed that it was not a rumba. Everyone loved Ed.

This is the video of the whole song, it's a song I really like (nothing to do with J, I liked it before he danced to it) and I can't work how they can do a paso to it. Kudos to them if they pull it off.

I suspect that Ore (and to a lesser extent Louise and maybe Danny) are low in the public vote and the producers want to keep them in and so are protecting them by the high marks. Opposite of J really.

I too sat in a mtg this morning and talk turned to SCD as it does of course.
One person had no SCD interest. (Strange)
2 people thought Ore was superb last Saturday and deserved the marks (and every week before)
2 people thought Ed should be unceremoniously kicked out.

So, what's a girl to do but have a detailed discussion of each and every step in the charleston. Only to be told "oh well it doesnt matter because he's enthusiastic".
When discussion turned to Ed who is trying to learn AND includes proper steps. Only to be told he is boring

So in just that one discussion we had a microcosm of what varying people look at and what they want to see.

Oh gawd I really hope AJ has some modern paso choreo up his sleeve (to go with such modern music) that the judges and public alike will love. (With just enough traditional paso in for Len)

Hard to imagine anyone thinking Ed was boring. Many other things but not boring!
Ore definitely has fans but I suspect amongst a different demographic to my office? Most people I work with didn't know him before and have not connected.

The thing is, J has now declared himself a "method actor" and is identifying with and living the character of Josh both on and off the stage. This includes getting up to some naughty antics. I had put the washing in the machine and turned to get the detergent and in those 5 seconds he put his jeans in. His bank card was in a pocket. You can be sure that he was reprimanded for this sneaky act and the insecurity of the card's location. His punishment awaits him at bedtime...
