Big looks like it's going to be amazing.

Very excited for Jay. The piano bit sounds amazing, that if it's wrong the piano player plays the wrong note 😂😂

Can't wait to hear about it from those going.

Love to all”

Lovely to hear from you Callmepitstop ( or Camel pitstop as one of number called you).
Hadn't heard about the play you mention but googled it.
Has great reviews. Glad you enjoyed it.

I've long wondered if J has eczema as his knuckles are often red or sore or bleeding. Anyone know?

Hope you have a lovely memorable time. Please blow a virtual kiss to J from me. Your eventual report will be so welcome. It's good of DS folks to post their reviews.

Sounds like a fabulous week-end that you have planned Cat09 with it being capped off in a BIG way by seeing
Jay as Josh and all the rest of the brilliant cast in
BIG the Musical.

ENJOY - Looking forward to hearing all about it

(Not sure if I've used the correct word - a 'play' - Adolphus Tips seems to be so much more. Agree - the reviews are v v good)

No, he often has sore knuckles.

As to his plumbing, at present he's deeply involved in inverting the downspout, but the upturn is looking promising.

It says the shows were at the Newcastle Metro Radio Arena on 3 Feb.

Seems like it must have been either something 'written' into the choreography or else something that Jay just started to do later on (have a feeling I've seen a recording where he and Anita danced on separately), but he also whirled Anita round at the last performance at the o2. One of my favourite memories of the night, so it's fabulous to see it shown so well on a video.

Hoping for lots of reports from those who are going.

Nice to see a post from you bubble.

Having spent over an hour on the phone yesterday trying to sort out which trains are running from where and when, and at which platforms they might arrive and then depart from, due to industrial action on Southern trains I will happily slap you. It did very scarily look at one stage as if I might have to cancel Saturday night, but a lovely young (I say young, he could have been 50 for all I know ) man on the assisted travel line has hopefully sorted out everything for me. I just need my train, and then the connecting one to Victoria to both go into the same platform at East Croydon and then I'll be OK. Everyone, please keep your fingers crossed for me between 1055 and 11.00 on Saturday.

I've just seen the film "Dr. Strange", with Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Tilda Swinton etc. What a brilliant film! Of course I'm biased, I love anything like that, science fiction etc. When I was expecting my son, I waded through my brother's mountains of Marvel and DC Comics. Fast forward to present day, and my son was very reluctantly impressed at how much back-story I knew about X-Men; Wolverine; Thor......ahhh.....Thorrr....Iron Man etc. etc. Think he thought I was cool - well, sort of. But that only lasted moments. Anyway, the special effects were really, very good. If you liked Harry Potter, I think you'd love this film. Of course, I realise that there may be some, who read my SCD show reviews, who might opine, that my discriminating powers, may not be as good as they would like them to be. But I would say to them, that it's worth going: if only to gaze at the lovely Benedict.
It wasn't until I was half-way through my take-away pizza afterwards, that I realised how very 'The Big Bang Theory' I was being. Not so cool, then.
Sorry if I've been rather enthusiastically OT, but I was so excited when I got home. Hope everyone hasn't gone to bed already.
