Two minor hiccups tonight, both coped with admirably by the jaybird.
The lad playing Billy gad trouble taking off his backpack so Jay said 'don't worry, she'll wait' (she being the secretary) and then a space hopper went bouncing across the stage and nearly ended in the orchestra pit!!! A quick hop and skip from Jay to retrieve it making it look as if it was supposed to do that.
Voice a lot better, if not completely OK. Bit difficult to tell in some of the songs because he needs to sound - weaker is the wrong word, but will try to think of a more accurate one in the morning when I have more wifi time.
Jay's not sure which dances they'll be doing in Edinburgh. His actual words 'We don't know if the baby can jive yet'.
And I got my hug.
