I would love to buy a recording of last years Strictly from the Beeb but not from this years. Lost all the recordings I made myself . Luckily I do have the Jaliona compilation vid and can watch that.

I'm not interested in buying the whole series - I often did not watch full episodes but FF through a lot. What I would really like though is the Tour. Sadly, though, no film was made.

Read that first of all as 'grease themed' - had visions of lots of children eating sausages with very sticky fingers

With modern technology, it must be easier to post films for downloading now - so it wouldn't have been much of a financial risk for the Strictly Tour producers to offer a download?

Wonder which dances J and A will do in Edinburgh? It would be hard work to change them, but can see them definitely avoiding lifts! Perhaps they'll do the Rumba again instead - it'll be firmly in their memories.
Suppose they'll do some figuring out after Big in Plymouth has ended.
At least there'll be the Q and A session.


ETA jayfan can see the logic of that - 2 'milder' dances and a Q and A seem logical. Even as a J and A dance fan, I'd be v happy with that.

Just had a very nice chat with Damien.
Nelliek and I were spying on him to see when he got off his phone so I could go and talk to him.
We said it was a strange state of affairs when you find yourself stalking Jay's manager...

I should think the salsa is probably out as the dance where the lifts are the most 'physical' and most integral to the dance. I can't remember what they did with the lifts in the Charleston - I know they didn't do the end one that went slightly wrong on SCD. Paso would be ok if they can replace the final end spin with something else.

It will be interesting to hear what they actually do.

I don't know... If I get him to wear his jacket he will wear his shorts; if he wears trousers he has just a tee-shirt; if he wears his scarf he just drapes it round his *respectful pause* neck; if he wears his Siva shirt he ditches the scarf... He's a little 🐒 .

I wouldn't mind betting that it's J who's probably most concerned about the lifts, and will want to make sure that A is absolutely safe. And V too, of course. I can just imagine A telling them both not to worry, she'll be fine. But they won't listen!
