Lovely review Strictly Red.
It was an open day at the university. Some people on the train were going there.
Agree totally about the theatre. It was a very comfortable with great seats and sightlines.

So Ed and Katya have fallen off the pace of J&A.

47 hour figure 282k J&A 42 hour figure was 398k
I think they've passed Judge Rinder and Oksana on YouTube, haven't they, but yes, haven't quite matched J and A. Not sure about Facebook though, haven't looked at that.

De lurking (again) to offer a deserving home to my two Keep Dancing Tickets for Edinburgh Saturday 19th November, Matinee 14:30 and Evening 19:30, best seat in the house.

Free to good home. Or a donation to the CBC

I have had the worst week ever that I'd not wish on my worst enemy.
Suffice to say I was in A&E Last Monday night having Tramadol IV in the worst pain of my life with no relief then it happened again on Wednesday but they wouldn't give me anything and the pain lasted 14 hours. Still in pain now & no idea when it will end.

I can't go and it's broken my heart.
Nothing will make up for missing it but if someone else could have the enjoyment please PM me in here or DM on Twitter @janetnbecks
That's very thoughtful of you Janet.

I hope you find the answer to what's causing the pain very soon.

Janet, I'm so sorry that you are in so much pain and can't make it to Edinburgh. Hope you recover in time for Christmas and Dublin.
Thanks Janet & fatskia. I'll crawl back into my hole. If I could crawl.

Janet, I would love to have your tickets but it is really too far for me to travel. I do hope you soon are pain-free and able to get to Dublin next year. Do take care.xx

A few thank yous that I may have forgot..

TT - enjoyed your SCD review. Agreed with most but not all of views.
Nelliek - enjoyed your keen eyed observations about the different performances. Lovely to see you on Saturday, albeit fleetingly.

Night all

...or not! 😇

Depends if you're the sort of person who's always saved your Christmas presents for "the day" or ripped off the wrapping paper immediately. 😇
New to the thread but been about the main board for a while, ducked in here to see if there were any reviews of Big as mum inadvertently let slip that we're going to see it in Dublin. (I say let slip, I made a throwaway comment about it and she said "well I hope you and your sister do want to see it cos that's your Christmas present" )

Good to hear people enjoyed it.

Wow indeed! What a superb review - but then it is of a superb production and lead! J would indeed be overjoyed to read this. Yay for Jay!

ETA Hello Jeffiner! I remember you from Louis' thread. Lucky you going to see Big!

Me too - thank you jayfan, Strictly Red - so very interesting.

Thank you to everyone for their reviews - love reading the different points of view - literally in some cases nelliek

....

Me too - I read the ending

I don't mind reading anything - it's all so interesting

....
Good to hear people enjoyed it.
Me too

It truly has been, Whiffle. .. Thank goodness he eventually accepted the invitation to do SCD which has had such happy consequences.
Seconded Korky, Whiffle

Thank you TT and all others for the Strictly reviews - it's so interesting to read different views on that too.
My opinion of Danny went up as he didn't allow TPTB to make a fuss this week - good man.

Liked Ore and Joanne, liked Danny and Oti
Louise is nice and she can dance, but somehow her dancing doesn't seem dynamic? Too self conscious maybe? I think Kevin is good.
Think Judge R is gaining dance skills - like watching him - he seems to get on so well with Oksana
I want Greg and Natalie to do well - Greg's gradually turning into a dancer but he can do some things but not others
Ed makes me smile and he is throwing himself into it and learning to dance - Katya is so good!
Think Claudia and AJ are gaining on the outside - I like them a lot.
Pity Daisy and Aljaz went out - she seems very nice and Aljaz is so good - they get on so well.

So in other words, I don't mind who wins - it's quite a relief compared to last year

Hope your pain is sorted out jnb and that you soon feel better.

Have thanked BMLisa for the stats on the MF

Oh I am so sorry that you are in such pain Janet

I know what you are gong through, I ended up with mophine injections after pain killers failed years ago.
I would love to go to Edinburgh but I can't due to home life.
I wish you well and hope the doctors find out what is causing such pain and get you better soon

Quicky - I am internetless, just borrowing the cousin's wifi for a minute. We had a tree pruned the other day so that in the winter storms the phone/power lines would not be damaged.

Guess what happened? (power OK)
So I have not deserted my jobs post and will sort you all out asap

Sorry to hear about your back Janet, - you've had a year of highs and all time lows, haven't you?

Thanks for all the reports, poems etc, some of which I've managed to skim through on the very slow and expensive mobile connection. It will take me some time to disentangle everything, if ever I get reconnected (seven working days and counting)

Have to leave cousins in peace now and go shopping !

A bientot
