Maybe you misheard and it was 'detest lame lumber hips'? It was a godawful mess, little tippy steps - that's what finished it for me. About as watchable as Kellie cloppin' abaht down the Old Bull and Bush.

Just confirms what I think about Karen, which is not a lot.

Lovely tweets from Damien - he really, really rates J, doesn't he? Firm friends too, I think.
Ha ha!

Or maybe "Messed failed crumbier blips".

Beautiful words from Damien. 💕

OMG - if they're doing the FT I might just have to change my mind about going...
Still here from time to time.

C'mon Toad. Get yourself up here in bonny, cold Scotland 😁

Well according to Twitter, Karen Hardy said Ore's were the best male rumba hips ....
Saw that and thought I should tweet her and tell her she should know better, as a professional, than to talk rubbish...😱😂

Just watched the latest interview from Live at Five here http://player.stv.tv/episode/3dx5/live-five/. J's on from 5.25
Seems in good spirits if still a little hoarse. Mentions Waltz & Rumba as alternative dances to ones where he 'throws Aliona around' Mentions BIG a little too

Thanks Whiffle. Also found this link which is just Jay's bit

http://player.stv.tv/video/3t4w/live...-keep-dancing/

Thank you everyone who has provided reviews, pics and assorted links. not getting to see any of the shows so they are doubly precious.

Ore's rumba. Where was the 4 1? More like 1 2 halt to me. But hey I'm not an expert like Ms Hardy!! Shame because I had hopes for him at the beginning - like him as a presenter.

Thanks for the telly linky thingy! (Whiffle too!) I had just been contemplating joining the Scottish iplayer but there's no need now.

J was very engaging as usual and I'm pleased that he likes Ed too.

Ditto, ditto, and ditto. Thanks Whiffle, and Tsuntsu bird. I'm now seriously wishing that I was going to see KD at Edinburgh, especially as I was born there. There are so many great sights for Jay to see, if he gets the time to visit them. He'll find that the people are great, too. But then, Jay would find that the people are great, wherever he goes. Silly me.

That clip is interesting - Waltz and Rumba!
Maybe dropping the Charleston and Salsa then?

I hope Jay recovers his normal voice by the first Show in Dublin. 3 weeks should give him a good chance.

With your knowledge you could apply for the Jayjob of Edinburgh Tour Guide and show him round in the mornings!

Looks like Rumba and Waltz - wonder which Waltz?
Not the FT - ah well - would have been a lot of work for J and A in a v short time

The Rumba and either Waltz sound great and an interesting Q and A - think people will like that
All v good

That's good to know.

Wonder if the new dances have been confirmed?

Edit: should have read above, it's waltz and rumba.

What a good idea. It wouldn't be the first time that I just carried on, straight through, until around midnight the following night. It was a regular thing for me when I had completed a week of night shifts. Slotted back onto 'days' for my days off that way. Very generous of you, Korky, to give up such a good opportunity for 'up close and personal' contact. I would, of course, make sure that the Jaygenda was rich and varied, with satisfaction a given, at the end...

Lovely, and the audience will be able to enjoy that VW without Craig's nasty snide comments.

Oh! Didn't expect that, for some reason, but maybe the VW is a bit fresher in the mind ..

Yes, I am very kind for nominating you... nothing at all to do with never having been to Edinburgh...

As Mistress of the Bedchamber I will ensure that he's up in good time and ready for your collection.

The VW is lush, I'm glad they're doing that one. I wonder what songs they're using
