Just popping in to wish the KD goers tomorrow a terrific day and show. Especially my fellow Strictly tour goers Jelly_L and Jayfan. Still enjoy thinking about our time in Nottingham before, during and after the show. Hope you all can meet up tomorrow before and/or after KD.

You should arrive at platform 4. Walk to the end of the platform, turn right past what is labelled as 'operations depot' on the map, then head in a half-past one direction to the stairs where the question mark is.
Up the stairs, along the bridge, and then use either the lift or the stairs to get into Calton Road.
As you come out of the station area turn left. Walk up the road, underneath the arch. (Think Princes Street is on the top of the arch.)
At the road junction you should see John Lewis ahead on the left.
Keep on the right-hand side of the road.
The Omni Centre, which is next-door-but one or two from the theatre, starts (on the right-hand side of the road) where John Lewis' finishes on the left-hand side.
I would reckon that you'll do it in twelve minutes easy to the theatre. Possibly less.

If you look on google maps, put Calton Road into the search. Follow it north to Leith Street.

Yes, it’s not a long walk. Ask someone to point you to the Waverley Steps. You come out on Princes Street. Look across the road slightly to your right and you’ll see John Lewis on the left corner of a wide road going off to the left of Princes Street. Cross over as you want to go down that road (Leith Walk). Keep going down until you see the Playhouse on the right hand side.

Hope my memory is ok! If in doubt ask anyone for the Playhouse. It’s not far from the Steps.

I’m meeting up with Speedy as we’re staying in the same hotel jay fan. Hope to meet Polly too although I haven’t organised anything yet. Will DM her right now. Bummer, can’t find her. Will keep trying as long as I can keep my eyes open.

The taxi driver told me that Scotland are playing Argentina at Murrayfield tomorrow so the city is going to be really busy.

As Jelly has said, it's a nice day but a bit nippy for soft Sassanachs like me.

Now going to have a couple of hours relaxing before I start sorting myself for this evening.

Just popping by to wish everyone a great weekend, especially all going to KD. Can't wait to hear all about it. It's my wedding anniversary this w/e and we are going to London tomorrow to see Vincent & Flavia in Last Tango and then a meal. Looking forward to it as everyone says it is brilliant. Just love AT and they are the best.

Have been a bit low this week as the poorly foot hasn't been behaving it's self and I still can't drive. To cheer myself up, with my foot resting, I decided to relive Jay's strictly journey from his cheeky wink in the first strictly trailer to his triumph in the final, using a mixture of Aliona's website, BBC strictly site and you tube. Watching all the clips of his dances, ITT and some whole episodes, made me realise why I have very little interest in this year show or contestants. There was a certain feel about last year that Jay, I think, brought to it. A happy joyous vibe. Everyone good or bad seemed to been enjoying themselves and were ' in it ' together. A camaraderie that seems to be missing this year. Last year I wanted to watch each week live and wibbled and fretted, but this I am really not bothered and will be out each Saturday even the final.

The thing that doesn't seem to have changed is the manipulation by TPTB, it actually seems worst this year. With some celebs getting awful music nearly every week and others perfect music. Rampant over marking and the Widdecombising of Ed Balls. TPTB never learn or listen😡

Sorry to be late in responding. Dog disappeared on our walk this morning for about 6 hours so was out hunting and panicking.
