Midweek and matinees are cheaper and they do an offer on group bookings (10+) at 50% off the mid range seats. I'm sure we can get a group of 10 together for Big!

ETA - we could probably make it a monthly group outing! ”

I was just thinking about how complex staging An American in Paris would be - especially the Ballet. Worth stumping up for, I think! My brain's a bit foggy today, so I can't remember if the Cyd Charisse number with the green dress, then the trailing silk was in that too, or if it was Singin' in the Rain. I think I'll just go and have a nice lie down....

Did you mean this one? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7YWBOfsXsDA

That's Singing in the Rain - although I had completely forgotten it until I looked it up.

But I am no better, because I was going to post this link earlier on to Morecambe and Wise's Slaughter on Western Avenue, until I realised that that wasn't from An American in Paris either (the clue's in the name )

Yes, love that number! Even OH recognised the sound of the dollar being tossed in the air.

And thank you for posting Slaughter on Western Avenue - hilarious. Bit worrying that I had a pink chiffon blouse and wine velvet skirt at about that time.............and I thought I looked so good in it!

I just want to be your warmer

I don't want to be despotic
Or patriotic or erotic
Or neurotic or symbiotic

I just want to warm you through

I don't want to be chaotic
Or platonic or exotic
Or sclerotic or biotic

I just want to warm you up...

With (only slight) apologies to Bob.

I don't post much but read every post and have loved reading about Keep Dancing in Edinburgh and the changes made to accommodate Aliona's pregnancy. Thanks for the videos of the different dances and the Q&A session, it was wonderful to see Jaliona together again, bought back lovely memories from Wimbledon and the Tour.

Also loved reading about the Big Preview week in Plymouth, and hoping that the show would go to the West-end next year, so I could see Jay performing as Josh but after hearing about the number of posters going to Dublin in January I decided to take the plunge and book myself a ticket too .

For those of you going on 7th January and flying from Birmingham and staying in the Clayton, little old me will be coming too

So excited to see Jay being Josh, Seeing Big, and visiting Dublin too

See you there Cmsjms1 - not staying at the Clayton (as live in Dublin) but will be going to both shows that day - Looks like a lot of Jalionistas going that day -
20 so far Jnb ?? - think we will have to do up a Nelliek listing..to make sure we can all so say 'hello' ( or Día Dhuit ) to another at some stage during the day

Eyes meet
Across the dancefloor
A meeting of two souls
Across time
Across the ages
Two souls entwined
Together
They dance
Together
They love
A meeting of minds
A love so deep
Cherished
In his arms
They talk of love
Wine red velvet
Caressing their souls
Caressing their love
Forever
Across the ages

You did try to challenge us yesterday to write something, so wine red velvet is actually for you

I'm grateful you had wine velvet and not the lovely things I was dressed in as a 70's child, orange nylon trousers and silky orange swirly patterned top, actually thinking about it Vicky Giggles would probably have loved that outfit - Mother what were you thinking of!

It's for me?

I wasn't a 70s child (ahem) but have always hated bright colours, including for clothes and decor, and I even hate bright light. I live in a very subdued world...

Come back Jayfan!!!

I have been wondering where you are. Hope your health is now improving.

I was going to apply for the Jayjob of Solitary Hair Tweezerer (on J's shoulder) as there is now a vacancy, but I thought people here would think I was a solitary Jayite so was re-writing my application...

Thank you! Great review and lovely to hear J's imput. I wonder why it lost •5 though. I do wish people would explain their reasoning. Never mind; that was a lovely find by Jayfan and you.
