Agrion. - enjoyed the clip. I've seen Rambert half a dozen times, but don't recall that piece. Thanks for posting, (Couldn't help thinking, Vicky Gill needs to get down to the Rambert dance trouser shop )

jayfan - not sure if any of these venues are any good to you, but this is their current schedule http://www.rambert.org.uk/performances/
(What did you think of The Missing? I've been obsessed with it .)

Thanks Fridgesoup
I probably could get to one or more of these venues. I will certainly try.

The Missing has been compulsive viewing in our house and I was prepared to be disappointed in the last episode because so many of the pieces of the jigsaw were already falling into place. But I didn't need to be worried. I thought it was great, really gripping and moving, mainly because of the excellent acting which mean that I didn't mind some of the slightly unrealistic plot twists. I loved the way it ended too. Long live Baptise!

Oh Snippy, how lovely to hear from you.
I so remember your rather 'merry' and always amusing posts.
So, sorry to hear that RL has been rubbish.
Hugs to you and the family. 💕

I do indeed remember you, Snippy. I'm pleased you're at least lurking still and hope you can post in the future.

Yippee! It's Snippy! Hello, and welcome back. You've been missed. I recommended you for the Twilight Zone mission, ages ago: to retrieve Jay's phone, and all his lost possessions. We didn't hear from you for some time after that, and then, after one or two posts - nothing. I wondered if that post had embarrassed, or offended you, in some way. I hope it didn't. I always appreciated how much you liked my 'near the knuckle' daft prose. Thank you for that.

I'm sorry that life, is not good for you at the moment, and send you the best of best wishes for a swift improvement all round. Hope that you're back to your old self, in no time. It would be great to hear from you again, whenever you can manage it....*hugs*

This is probably a bit of a long shot but...

I'm looking for longer versions of the dances than what they have on the Strictly youtube website (like in the Tango where they've cut off the bit before the music starts ) and I was wondering if one of you lovely people might be able to help. Really I'd be happy with just a longer version of the Rumba, if anyone has that.

It's for something I'm working on and hopefully be able to share soon

Hope this makes sense, it's way past my bed time

Wow, thanks for the warm welcome (jayfan and korky also).

I can promise you this that not one of you lovely people caused any offence at all .

I am trying to get life back on an even keel and hope to get my posting mojo back....until then remember I am always watching

(Korky...keep your claws of the undercrackers ).

I've been busy today, and will be, until the end of next week, doing fulfilling work with people whose company I love. I'm also going to see Fantastic Beasts tomorrow night, so probably won't be on the thread much. But I'll try to do a bit of a lurk, when I can.

I had planned to get there quite early (for me), today, but somehow that didn't happen. When I finally got going, I hadn't driven more than ten yards down the road, when, what should come on the radio, but "Walk of Life"! I haven't thought about it for years and years, and the very day after I mention it, in passing, in my 'Sad Singing Lady' post, there it is. Jumping up and down, and waving "Coo-ee, thought you'd heard the last of me.....well here I am, back again...". Actually, I've probably mellowed with time, but it didn't sound as bad as I remember, after the umpteenth time of singing it.
Never let it be said that life hasn't got a sense of humour.

ETA. I still plan to do my Strictly Report, on Saturday, at the usual time, tho'.

Snippy, it’s so good to see you again, when I say “see” I mean read you again...you know what I mean

How could you think that you had been forgotten, I mean you are the Mistress of the Undercrackers - that’s pretty unforgettable. You were one of the first people I “spoke” to, I still blush when I think how naive and innocent I was back then when I truly believed you were “Wardrobe mistress at the Adelphi Theatre”...some words are indelibly etched on the brain and those 6 words are etched on mine. But out of my confusion came Jayjobs so not all bad

I’m sorry to hear that you have had a grim time recently and hope that 2017 will be so much better for you and your family. Will you be able to see Big in Dublin because those undercrackers he is sporting in it look as if they will need your careful handling - probably don’t want them to shrink anymore!

I look forward to hopefully “speaking” to you again in the future.

Bees, if you are around, could you help Marishkta?

Also, I am sure that some thread members still have recordings of the SCD shows.

Good luck anyway!

Matrishka,

Most of the longer edit videos on you-tube aren't very good quality (360 whatever they are's rather than 720). If it would help you, TT might be able to give you a link to a dropbox download of Rachel's Jaliona videos (nearly all of their appearances in the series at good quality) or I could send you them on DVD if you PM me with an address. I'm happy to help as a thank you for your great videos from KD Edinburgh!

I think I have my original Dropbox videos saved on my computer. I also have a lot of footage on the PVR but it needs sorting. Bear with me!

Just had an email from BIG. Re the soundtrack CD:
"
BIG The Musical
We are just writing to let you know of a slight delay in despatching the Big! The Musical soundtrack CD’s that have been pre ordered.

Following an amazingly successful preview week in Plymouth, the show producers made some minor amendments and tweaks to both the script and the soundtrack of the show and some members of the cast have been in the studio to re-record some sections of the score to ensure that the official soundtrack includes these up to date amendments, this has led to a slight delay in production times.

We are now expecting to despatch your CD during the week commencing the 5th December. We will send you a shipment notification as soon as they have been despatched. If you ordered other small items along with the CD then these will be despatched at the same time.

Thanks for your patience and understanding and we look forward to despatching your item/s shortly.
If you have any questions, reply to this email or contact us at info@go-big.co.uk"

Song / script tweaks! Can't wait 🙌🏻🎼🎹

Snippy hello & how lovely to see you again. Sorry to hear RL has not been good for you lately. Here's hoping things get better soon for you & yours. Nice to know you are lurking though & hope you will be able to post some more soon.

As it's 1st December today I thought this might be fun (mind you it's probably a Whiffle Whimsy that only appeals to me! )
