Hey SR ! I'm embarrassed to say I'm still not understanding this poll
Can you tell me why Jay's name isn't in each section and only in the Paso ? I passed my 11 + so the penny should have dropped ( but it hasn't ) ![]() |

Chris - you're Monkseal, aren't you? That blog is just the funniest thing ever, even when I don't agree with it.

Oh God I wish I was. But no Monkseal posts under his name on this forum. I wish I could be so witty. I have linked it to the Georgia thread but I'm glad you guys are doing it as well.

Evening all.
Have been really busy and not read today's postings yet, but just thought I'd let everyone know that the next round of voting in Monkseal's World Cup is open for business. There are 64 couples left now, down from 128 last week, and you can vote for up to 4 dancers in each section ........or just Jay if you want to! ![]() Over half of the celebs from last year have already been eliminated- Kellie, Ainsley, Carol, Daniel, Anthony, Peter, Kirsty, Iwan. Don't let Jay be next, so..... VOTE VOTE VOTE https://monkseal.wordpress.com/2016/...orld-cup-2016/ Voted like a voting monkey, Miss ![]()

Ps *whispers* the poetry isn't always my favourite either, but i know it is lots of people's so I skim through & join in when there's something I feel able to contribute to. PPS I hope I don't/didn't bore anyone about Becks either. Will try to keep it down to a dull whimper ![]() Please don't feel you have to, [b]jnb[/B I've just been watching the Queen with her horses and immediately thought of Becks. I don't suppose I'll ever see a horse again without remembering him, and I'm sure lots of other threaders are the same. That's not a bad legacy to leave. |

I don't think the dance in the title means very much - just a way of grouping people?
I think he was in group 0101 last time so the group names must change each time and as it is based on a world cup system the number of contestants seems to halve each time. (Or maybe I miss a week😂...) |

I have been caught out by the KD List Police. Oops
Apparently I voted for every dance. Now I wonder how that happened. It was very early on in the proceedings in my own defence. Anyhoo here are my 4 dances Argentine Tango- loved the BR but ooh imagine Tango fire in the AT Waltz - loved the romanticism Salsa- yay. Jay's happy dance Charleston--Happy happy happy Is that OK Whiffle. ![]()

Nice of you to acknowledge, Hannah.
Although I did ultimately decide, I found that the fourth was supremely difficult to choose. Now I have to pick 4. Well the first 3 seemed easy-ish and then oh boy. A hard pick to tie down the fourth |

Being selfish, I have seen the jive and rumba on tour, so: I would love to see the AT done again with some of the intensity that Jay achieved in the tango. I think the waltz is the ballroom dance that got the best balance of dancing and 'wafting'. The salsa is just joyous. The charleston was so polished and together and so much fun. I love the showdance as well, but don't think that would translate as well to the theatre setting. ETA- completely forgot about the tango, but I don't think that could be bettered from the show, so I'm happy to keep my memories

I was looking for an example of Jay's acting and came across this clip. If you want to skip the intro and just go to the relevant bits head for 1:30. (Watch from the beginning if you want a little bit of silly fun.)
Anyhow, here's your challenge... try spotting Which Witch is Jay? I expect you all to get this right first time...there will be a price to pay if you don't. Stick with it there's a lovely version of Heart Vacancy at the end. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfv8dg6VJ5I ETA Hi janetshep...good to have you back and glad you liked the clip. |

Hannah - can I steal your suggestions and for pretty much the same reasons!

I don't think she saw the funny side of having the same excellent taste as me. Oh well
