Morning - no ice this morning so I have 2 mins to post something.
CatO - love your music choices There is a distinct possibility I may return to this tonight ![]() Jelly - bet you find your sheet music out today and have a boogie ![]() I was thinking, I know dangerous in the morning, I think he might be laying a trail...one of his puzzles. You know the feeling when we don't quite understand what he has posted and then a couple of months later something is announced and we let out a collective "Oh that's what he was alluding to when he posted xyz". A couple of days ago in instagram he posted a clip of a hand walking down a corridor and the word "yes", I thought I recognised the clip but couldn't think where from, son was forced to watch it and said the same. Then his enigmatic tweet about daydreaming after hanging up the phone, I think he is laying clues - what to I haven't worked out yet, but he is teasing about something. So, if you haven't got anything to do today this is your mission for today - try and figure out his puzzle, or at least come up with some outlandish ideas

Followed by a list of forthcoming productions. I don't know anything about London theatres but picked out the ones that have musicals that are closing. Dominion - An American in Paris opens there in March. Definitely booked till the end of September. Palladium - The Wind in the Willows musical opens in June 2017. Phoenix - supposedly Gary Barlow's 'The girls' is due to open there. Theatre Royal Drury Lane - 42nd Street due to open in March Victoria Palace - next scheduled production 'Hamilton' is due to open in October 2017. Piccadilly - nothing listed as yet to replace Jersey Boys when it closes in March. |

Hmmm.
Savoy - Dreamgirls opening next Autumn Aldwych - Carol King at the moment, maybe not a long run Shows do move theatre from time to time The hand may be a reference to Thing' from The Munsters? No idea why though Another thought might be The New London Theatre -Cats played there when it first opened. Of course the jive would be Len's favourite because it was the very best and he knows that. He just wishes Kevin did it. |

BBC Breakfast iplayer near the end at about 8.4O am. I don't think he really wanted to mention Jay at all but the prog had given J pole position at the end of the three dances, no doubt saving the best till last and the presenter made a point of flagging it up. He was very complimentary about it, as indeed he should be.
Preceding clips very Clifton - no surprises there. Maybe Kevin's being lined up for DWTS... My physio told me she saw J on TV this morning saying BIG is going into the West End, but she didn't remember what show - maybe Lorraine? |

Another random and totally out of sequence post from me - I am back in cyberland and still slowly working my way through - 22 pages to go now. Then I shall be able to work on those jobs I've picked up since last time (I know I posted later but I've been leapfrogging in a vain attempt to keep up) Internet came back just in time for me to do a few bits before I had my knee botoxed (some yucky gel injected) which was only a ten minute job but since Bigsis had an appointment the same day for other things was v. time consuming. Then we had a few bits done by our very own plumber handyman, so today is the first day I've really been able to have a marathon session at the screen.
I'm a bit disturbed to see unseemly squabbling cropping up again, I really do need to get my act together, don't I? But, I take this opportunity to thank you all for your reports, poetry, links etc as usual, to say welcome back to the returners and casual lurkers, and offer hugs and sympathy to those who need it. Now I need to go and buy some lasure for the new bits of wood the plumber installed over the weekend. I'll be back |

Ahhhhhhh, so I had a free hour to myself (which is very unusal at the moment) and I decided to immerse myself in all things Jay - specifically SCD 2015.
I do know these things have been discussed to death on this thread but I was just remembering the unanticipated and electrying impact Jay's dancing had on me last year. I didn't see it coming. I had little idea who he was and he didn't "look" like he would be such a natural dancer......tall, hairy, well built (I mean that most respectfully of course) and with a funny walk. I for one had no idea he would be such a lyrical and musical dancer. Maybe that's one reason why I haven't been enjoying SCD so much this year. As talented as some of the participants are, not one of them has taken me by surprise, with the same effect that Jay did. I suppose some sort of hangover was inevitable this year though. I miss 2015. For so many reasons can we press restart on 2016 please? ![]() On a lighter note I am cock-a-hoop about all this success our man is having professionally, though personally devestated that he will be performing in my little Island and I can't get to see him. I shall just have to rely on all you lovely people instead

Jay is unique with his huge talent, personality, charisma, stage presence and array of skills and that wonderful quirkiness I adore. Never fear: Those DS folks going to Dublin are sure to write superb detailed reports of the show and perhaps take a sneaky picture or two... |

Just catching up. Thanks again for all the advent calendar appreciation - glad you like it ![]() Quote:
I fully expect him to be popping round for a cup of tea with you by the end of the week
![]() Just make sure that when he does he doesn't flutter his eyelashes at you and gives you a smile and then gives you a hug "you couldn't just do my washing for me Polly" ![]() Quote:
Good Jaystalking Cato. You cats are all very skilled!

... and chocolate gives me migraine. ![]() Anyway, thank goodness for Jay. A ray of light in a ruddy irritating landscape today ![]() ![]() p.s. I think 'Thing' the hand is from the Adams Family?? |

Good grief. I thought Jay had some lousy music to dance to but three of the four for this week's show are, to my mind, bizarre to say the least.
Bleeding love (Leona Lewis) - Cloudier & AJ - rumba ![]() ![]() ![]() Glad all over (Dave Clark Five) - Louise & Kevin - tango ![]() ![]() ![]() Can't get you out of my head (Kylie) - Ore & Jo - Argentine tango And not that I'm cynical, but guess who's got the most appropriate music? Doing a salsa to Vivir mi vida (Mark Anthony). Might not bother to watch but I will chuck all my votes to Cloudier. |
