She definitely said Jay was on this morning. She'd just come in from taking the dogs for a run, so probably quite early. Just asked OH and he thinks she was talking about Len talking about Jay - I've certainly been talking to her about the West End, so maybe that's it, Brain's a bit fried with all that's going on at the moment.

Listening to the interviews Jay sounds in crackin' form. He comes across so well when interviewed.

I loved the little snippet of "Cross the Line" that he and Diana sang. They both sounded great together.

Two things struck me:-

1) I wonder if during the casting process if various "couples" were tested together to see if their voices blended well. Or did the producers/director just cast and hope for the best. He and Diana seem to have a lovely natural chemistry even when being interviewed.

2) Also, maybe because he his singing in an American accent, Jay's voice sounds so very different. I know pop and musical theatre are different styles of singing, but to my ears he sounded really changed. Not in a bad way though. His voice sounded really strong and he complemented and held his own against Diana wonderfully.
