BBC Breakfast iplayer near the end at about 8.4O am. I don't think he really wanted to mention Jay at all but the prog had given J pole position at the end of the three dances, no doubt saving the best till last and the presenter made a point of flagging it up. He was very complimentary about it, as indeed he should be.
Preceding clips very Clifton - no surprises there. Maybe Kevin's being lined up for DWTS... My physio told me she saw J on TV this morning saying BIG is going into the West End, but she didn't remember what show - maybe Lorraine? |

Possibly or maybe he is staying nearby and there was some BIG promo or other on down there - it is not that far from Bord Gais Theatre where Big is happening.
For anyone travelling, Big merchandising will be available in Bord Gais Theatre, including the Big Cast CD - I asked when I happened to be passing by the theatre today..whistles innocently ....and NO I didn't meet any tall young huggable man with curly hair![]() ![]() You'll have to keep walking round and round the theatre...

Jo Clifton and Ore were on Lorraine this morning - I didn't see Jay on TV this morning (tho I wasn't in all day) - he was definitely in Dublin last night - of course whatever changnel she saw Jay on may have recorded an interview with him

She definitely said Jay was on this morning. She'd just come in from taking the dogs for a run, so probably quite early. Just asked OH and he thinks she was talking about Len talking about Jay - I've certainly been talking to her about the West End, so maybe that's it, Brain's a bit fried with all that's going on at the moment.

Good grief. I thought Jay had some lousy music to dance to but three of the four for this week's show are, to my mind, bizarre to say the least.
Bleeding love (Leona Lewis) - Cloudier & AJ - rumba ![]() ![]() iGlad all over (Dave Clark Five) - Louise & Kevin - tango ![]() ![]() ![]() Can't get you out of my head (Kylie) - Ore & Jo - Argentine tango And not that I'm cynical, but guess who's got the most appropriate music? Doing a salsa to Vivir mi vida (Mark Anthony). Might not bother to watch but I will chuck all my votes to Cloudier. Being left with 7/8week old grandson while parents go to a wedding..... 😱

Evening all
Very quiet here tonight. Snippy- think you have summed up how a lot of us are feeling. Polly T - keep wandering by the theatre! Well done Jnb is getting a like on Twitter from Jay (is like the right word?) Danceagogo- happy babysitting! Nelliek- I wonder when we will find out about the West End? Lola- I think you may be onto to something and that Jay is laying down some clues for us! Surely the collective brain power of this thread can work it out? Some of the music for SCD on Saturday sounds ghastly! Can the Beeb only afford to buy the rights to a limited number of songs now??? Finally, happy birthday to Speedy and KLTKD🍾🎂 Hope you had a good day. Re Len's dances, I can't remember Ricky's waltz. Will have to check it out. No surprise that he can't remember his script from one series/show/programme to the next. Waves to everyone else reading or posting. |

Morning - no ice this morning so I have 2 mins to post something.
CatO - love your music choices There is a distinct possibility I may return to this tonight ![]() Jelly - bet you find your sheet music out today and have a boogie ![]() I was thinking, I know dangerous in the morning, I think he might be laying a trail...one of his puzzles. You know the feeling when we don't quite understand what he has posted and then a couple of months later something is announced and we let out a collective "Oh that's what he was alluding to when he posted xyz". A couple of days ago in instagram he posted a clip of a hand walking down a corridor and the word "yes", I thought I recognised the clip but couldn't think where from, son was forced to watch it and said the same. Then his enigmatic tweet about daydreaming after hanging up the phone, I think he is laying clues - what to I haven't worked out yet, but he is teasing about something. So, if you haven't got anything to do today this is your mission for today - try and figure out his puzzle, or at least come up with some outlandish ideas ![]() http://www.theaddamsfamily.co.uk/ As I said probably completely wrong & as you say Lola J is teasing us ![]() Thanks for the links to latest interviews - something to look forward to when I get in from work |

Great interview - Thanks to Polly, jnb and DD for posting the links. Lovely to hear them both singing live too. Can't wait for the West End - third time lucky!
Wasn't about this time last year that we saw J with Zoltar? Maybe the play's the Thing! |

Hi again! Apologies for posting twice in a row but I'm reading the thread backwards and missed saying thank you to everyone for all the lovely links to radio interviews and tweets/pictures of Jay and Diana. Lovely to keep hearing more and more about Big! Loved hearing them both sing too-a nice little teaser!
Fantastic to hear the West End mentioned too!

Thanks Polly & jnb for the lovely links.
Listening to the interviews Jay sounds in crackin' form. He comes across so well when interviewed. I loved the little snippet of "Cross the Line" that he and Diana sang. They both sounded great together. Two things struck me:- 1) I wonder if during the casting process if various "couples" were tested together to see if their voices blended well. Or did the producers/director just cast and hope for the best. He and Diana seem to have a lovely natural chemistry even when being interviewed. 2) Also, maybe because he his singing in an American accent, Jay's voice sounds so very different. I know pop and musical theatre are different styles of singing, but to my ears he sounded really changed. Not in a bad way though. His voice sounded really strong and he complemented and held his own against Diana wonderfully. |
