Thanks! Looking forward to Part 2...
The rest is not as clear or exciting Korky - I did 'wake-up' after that but only to another Inception like level in my dream atill waiting to wake & the rest is a jumble. However, normally when I wake after one of these dreams within a dream I am a bit discombobulated but this time I woke feeling all serene & remembering contentedly the most vivid part of the dream. It was really rather lovely

At least it sounds a lot more exciting than my last one. I'm in a cafe, not even a hipster, trendy place serving avocado on toast, but M&S cafe and I'm having a pot of tea for one! I mean why - I hardly ever do this in real life Anyway, I'm sitting with my pot of tea reading a book (if you are on your own always have a book with you) and I'm suddenly aware of someone standing next to me with a tray and he says "excuse me, do you mind if I sit here" and it's J. And that's as far as I got, I woke up knowing I had a conversation and we exchanged phone numbers but I have no idea what we talked about. But he was very polite and he too had a pot of tea for one.

I think I preferred my raunchy ones to tea and polite conversation, not that it wasn't good of course

Aah, the waking woolly Whiffle. We've all been there...

Sadly, I have yet to have a Jaydream.

You could have blended your teas into one...

Evening everyone.
Really enjoyed the poetry 'tag' - very entertaining.
Sadly, never had a Jay dream of any kind!
Two very boring days back at work. Looking forward to the weekend AND to this time next week when I will be in Dublin with a lively gang of Jalionistas!! Can't wait. 👍😀🙏👏🍾🎶✈

Do you dream of J often then Lola?? Mine was only my second - the first involved me passing him in the street dressed like this (but without the tie) & not recognising him immediately. Diana then walked passed as well. I then find myself opening what looks suspiciously like Mums' front door to him. He's lost the jacket (probably encountered Jayfan en route) & I apologise for not recognising him earlier. He tells me not to worry & I smooth down the back of his shirt a la Aliona at the beginning of the showdance as he walks past me. Make of that what you will!

It obviously means that he thinks you're a Whifflewonder as he's seen all your Whifflework on here and admires your techiness.

Just a quick thought - did anyone notice that after your discussions about bobbly scarves there was a photo of him displaying said scarf?

Or am I imagining things

Oh, that was a (not so) subliminal message to us. After all, we know that Jay reads this thread every evening! 💕

I wonder if he does really read this - who is going to be brave enough to ask him?

No, I had a really raunchy x-rated one that I felt really embarrassed about when I woke up The cafe one recently and a J on a train one, that was remarkably similar to my cafe one - me having a terribly polite conversation with him

Was it you who had the nice dream of meeting him on a bench/wall outside a theatre (Dublin?) chatting & again exchanging phone numbers ??

I was told on good authority that Jay reads it. I have no reason to doubt the word of the person who told me, especially as we were talking about the thread at the time.

Sounds like one of my scintillating ones In my head we always sound a bit like Trevor Howard and Celia Johnson in Brief Encounter, which is waaaay before my time, sort of terribly polite, clipped accents and drinking pots of tea - I really must get out more

Tartan McScarfy

I am a scarf of tartan check
Who loves to lie around J's neck
(Though once he used me as a skirt
With undercrackers I did flirt )
But now the weathers turned right chill
Excessive wear has made me pill
So how do I go for a clean
When without me J's rarely seen?
Perhaps then in the dead of night
When J is tucked up warm and tght
Snoring gently, dreaming BIG
Of song and dance, his latest gig
I'll nip off for a quick de-pill
And nice dry clean - that would be brill
So when J wakes up all refreshed
And after getting washed and dressed
He spies me folded neat and square
"I thought I left you over there?
But never mind, come on lets go
It's nearly time for our next show"
And so once more around his neck
J winds his scarf of tartan check.

Morning all!

Just popping in to wish everyone a very Happy New Year, in case I don't get the chance later.
🎉🎉🍾🍾🎉🎉

I've had a lovely time following Jay's career this year, and sharing thoughts and fun times with fellow posters. Hopefully more to look forward to next year, too.

Morning everyone

It's been brilliant reading all of the fabulous feedback on Twitter, jayfan. I never really had any doubts though, after seeing the show in Plymouth.

Hello *waves shyly*

De-lurking to wish everyone a good NYE. Or "guten Rutsch" as we say over here.

Oh, and to share our NYE tradition: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8fo2Mt6sdc

There's a short German intro explaining the setting and the two important phrases.

If you want to skip it: https://youtu.be/j8fo2Mt6sdc?t=2m25s

And a little background info: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuld9Ant9C0

"The same procedure as every year, James!" - Ha! And back on topic
