I am Jay's *respectful pause* neck
Encircled by his scarf of tartan check.
It keeps me warm, there is no doubt,
Keeping wind and coldness out.
But it has developed lots of pills
Which makes it look as old as the hills.
Now with it Jay refuses to part
As it warms the cockles of his heart
And that's so important, as you know,
For cold cockles are a definite No!
So if his scarf someone could nobble
And remove from it each pesky bobble
I would be for ever more your friend
As the knobs are driving me round the bend.
I am most respectfully yours,
Jay's neck, in danger of chafing sores.

Can I say, jayfan all that you have said, with knobs on😜 am posting early as OH and I are away in a hotel for a couple of days and Wifi is a bit iffy. Wishing you all a happy, healthy and peaceful 2017🎉🍸🍹 Let's hope the world is a more politically stable place to live in, 2017. 🙏 and all Jay's career dreams come true👍

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year.

It's been an absolute delight following our pair with such a lovely bunch of funny, talented, encouraging, caring, supportive& like-minded people. A huge (should that be BIG?) thank you to all for all the witty banter, pictures, videos, poems, Jayjobs, Jayctionary etc. I've been moved to tears, metaphorically split my sides with laughter & am so glad I took the plunge to de-lurk & make my first post having never done anything like this before.

Can't wait to see what the new year holds - hopefully BIG in the West End for J✨✨ & a beautiful, healthy little one for Ali & Vin👶🍼

Here's to a peaceful & prosperous 2017 for all.

I can't have you feeling a physical wreck
So I'll introduce myself by saying
I am the answer to what you're praying
Yes, I can sooth savage Scarfy McT
( for discretion you can rely on me)
I'm the only ointment that can cure
Those noisome sore bits, that's for sure
But I need someone to spread my healing
Which requires the very gentlest feeling
And the touch of someone close to Jay
Who can make the damage go away
So is there a volunteer you could suggest
Who might put my proposal to the test?

I am also away for new year, but fortunately the hotel has good Wifi, so I would love to second everything Jayfan and Defer have said, and to add that I am very proud to have such good friends ,to share our love of all things J, with. and hope we can continue to follow j in all the success that will surely come his way.
