Ah no, I'm afraid not. I'm terribly lazy and it's takeaway all round! In fact for Christmas this year we treated ourselves to a dishwasher so I don't even have to wash up...Happy days!

Time marches on and it's nearly time to say goodbye to 2016.

It's been a difficult year, a difficult 18 months to be precise, and, in common with others on the thread, I'd like to say thank you for the laughs, the wibbles, the fun and the diversion from the heavier side of life that everyone on here has provided.

Most of all, it's a massive thank you to Jay, who has provided a real and lovely beacon of light in the darkness and, of course, to Aliona, for making Jaliona happen.

I wish everyone the best of everything for 2017 and my big wish for the year is that Jay goes on from strength to strength and has a blast in the process.

Happy New Year to everyone. I know the last year has not been good in so many ways for a lot of people all over the world but a lot of good things did happen, even taking Jay out of the equation. Good things can happen when people work together for a common goal, I think the continuance of this thread shows that out of a love for a dancing dork and his Russian taskmaster a lot of people have got a tremendous amount of love, support, laughs and friendships over the last year and long may it continue.

I hope 2017 brings you all peace, health and happiness and I look forward to “seeing” you all next year.

Jay - Thank you for letting jayfan almost drag you into Wetherspoons in Wimbledon (though with her back-up from jnb and Arnostae you perhaps decided resistance was futile ) thank you for the hug at Plymouth.
Aliona - sorry I never got to meet you (and sorry we were the initial reason Jay was late for the Saturday afternoon Wimbledon show ).
Vin - a virtual wave this time instead of an actual one like in the eaterie in Edinburgh.
Damien - thank you for looking after 'our boy' and for not seeming to mind when you get accosted by the strange women who inhabit this thread.

Happy New year to all my Jalionas friends on this thread. It was such a pleasure to meet some of if you at Wimbledon. I am proud that I managed to pluck up courage to ask Jay for a nice picture with you nelliek in the pub. Such a lovely smile!

Also I am so pleased you liked your badges, it was my bit of lounacy for 2016.
I don't post much but I love all the posts on or off topic and it was wonderful to put names to faces at Wimbledon.

Just noticed that on Rosa's Mcguiness Daily site, someone called Sophie Louise as posted a pic of her and Jay, from 28th Dec and she says he smashed it in Big, even though he was sick with the flu 😷 Where's Korky, he might need some TLC

I intended to post on here yesterday with some more thoughtful stuff, but then I got a call to say my dad had been taken ill again, and this morning the hospital have told me I should be there. So I'm on a train home, and may or may not see everyone in Dublin on Saturday.
