It's a happy company and that's what's helping make the show so special. I'm glad Gregor's doing so well, of course his performance will be different to Jay's, but still hugely enjoyable for audiences who appreciate that Jay may need time to recover to avoid lasting damage to his lovely voice.

The company's very lucky to have someone as competent, versatile and professional as Gregor. He has a very sparky personality. I'd love to see his interpretation of Josh - along with Jay's of course.

Yes, that would be good. Nice to see their differing interpretations.
Such a shame that Jay is so poorly this week, but Gregor is doing a fine job standing in, by all accounts.

It must be so frustrating for Jay, but I doubt if the medics will want him anywhere near the stage until he's fit to perform without damaging his voice. This year's bugs seem to be particularly nasty and tenacious, and he's likely been fighting this one off since rehearsals started at Plymouth. I remember his father writing that he'd got on the train 'barking like a dog'.
Gregor's doing sterling work holding the fort and I'm sure Jay really appreciates that. He must be feeling pretty grim at the moment.

Probably, but it's a massive "if"...
Well if Jay says it's laryngitis I assume that's the diagnosis he's been given, not the best news for a singer and definitely not to be taken lightly. I should think he's pretty gutted, but sensible enough to know not to push his voice before it's back in shape, apart from the fact that he must have been feeling under par for quite a while, even if his performances never let it show.
